"If you want the team mediocre and disorganized, then Botterill is the man for the job"
I watched Mad Men sporadically ca. 2009-10. There's a scene after Don, Roger, & Bertram leave Sterling-Cooper to form the new agency where the three debate bringing in Lane, who had fired them at their request. Don looks at Roger and Bertram and bluntly states "I can't do his job."
Percentages that this team fires Botterill at the conclusion of the season?
On par with a species-killing meteor strike.
I think 50/50
Pegula has shown that he is willing to give a regime a fair shake and not act too quickly. And botts seems to have been given a fair shake at this point with no success
Pegula should zip up and realize his "fair shake" has dribbled his sneakers.
Didn't listen or read one second of whatever noises uncorked from him today.
I'm done bashing Botterill. He's an idiot who doesn't know he's an idiot.
This is on Terry, and always has been. Sadly, we can't wish for his firing.
Still wishing Botterill would change his name to Dunning, so the franchise can be led by Dunning-Kruger (sic).

I'm looking forward to the goalie acquisition he makes at the trade deadline... after we go 500 the next few weeks, and remain solidly outside the playoff picture. That acquisition will obviously be accompanied by paying someone a 5th rounder to take Bogo's contract, so we have the cap space to acquire said goaltender....
I'd take one of the Rangers Russian backups, regardless.
Dahlin was the lottery, Olofsson was a Murray draft pick. Skinner was a nice trade but was done to replace the loss of Kane. Notice how Boterrill always seems to be behind and his biggest needs he creates himself. Now the ROR trade and what does Buffalo need the most? A top 6 center.
Tired of watching this guy chase his tail and not improve the team instead of make it worse.
Skinner and Joker were dropped in his lap. I think
@threeVo is correct, re: Legwand.
Alex, I'll take idiots for 30.
"He’s the only three-time Gold Medal, World Junior guy in the world. He’s a smart guy, and he does a good job.“
$30 ?? That's old-school mid-1970's Art Fleming era daytime
Jeopardy round ($10, 20, 30, 40, 50). Double Jeopardy was $20, 40, 60, 80, 100. I remember watching with my mom and siblings in the basement where we had our B&W TV. We'd come home for lunch on occasion from our elementary school around the corner. Contestants had conical paper water cups in holders on their podiums. But to a child like me, they looked like upside down triangles, and I couldn't understand why they wouldn't fall over when resting on their apex.
