They need an experience GM who has been to the top and knows how to run an organization.

Dean Lombardi is at the top of my list.

Looks like no one told Ferraro the 21-22 long term plan due to cap impossibilities and draft and develop ergh i mean put the unready into the lineup.

Edit: Surprised he went this hard. National media like him are usually far more gentle with direct criticism.

I don't think they fire him before this deadline.

But it seems to me they might surprise everyone and do it at the end of the season, not because it's a great idea, but just to appease the masses.

Murray was a surprise firing. Regier wasn't exactly a surprise, but it was midseason, without a plan, which Pegula even said, didn't come from anything specific, it was just time.

I still think the odds are low. But if the national media does a dog pile on botts and the rink keeps going empty or getting overrun by other team's fans....

He should have been fired before the ROR trade
We would be so much better off
But the problem is it was probably in line with the dofus owners
All that pseudo motivation talk "building a winning culture" in every interview post game like nlp zombies.
That was 2 years ago
Well let's go "back to the basics"
For now we just have to "trust the process"
I guess JB has the Pegulas on his lap with his smear talk & their now obvious cluelesness of how to run an organisation

But only "stuff" a hoarder would want.

Hello TLC, do I have a new show for you!!!

It'll be a bunch of other GM's standing around outside of a storage container bidding on the contents. They can't see because Ullmark and Johansson are standing in front of all of the rest of the team, all packed into it.

Sabres drinking game...

Do a shot every time GM Butt-head says; 'Look', 'situation', 'scenario', 'process'

If you can make it through the whole interview without barfing/dying you win.

yay...hockey heaven......

He didn't even last 2 seconds in without forcing a drink.

Situation used in his first sentence.

Says the organization is frustrated and they notice.

And they went to Duane.

Says he is looking for development, dodging around the question on if they aren't where he wants them to be.

Steve Greely and Randy Sexton brought in to be the "hockey ops" guys, rather than someone between him and pegulas

And Greeley as the player personnel guy. And then he touches on Steve being close with the Eichel family.

Dude, we don't need Eich's family connections as PPD. We need someone who can look at Sobotka/Berglund/Josefson/Pouliot/Nolan/Elie/Wilson/Sheary/Vesey and realize they are not good players. Holy f***.
