There is 64 top pair D if we think Chabot is one
Coaching plays him on 2nd pair
There are 128 top 4 D

Just for perspective
He's 27th in minutes per game (down from top 3 each of the past 3 years, thankfully), with 23:41, in the entire league this season, what pair he plays on doesn't mean much. Sergachev plays on the 2nd pair, he's still top 40 in the league in minutes per game. Raddysh is playing on the top pair and is playing 18/19 minutes per game outside the top 150, etc. Chara was nominated for a Norris with the Sens while playing on the 2nd pairing.

Sanderson should be soon to pass him with 23:22 per game, but Chabot will still be played as a minute munching top pair guy, regardless of which pair he's on. He's not going to drop below ~23 mins per game anytime soon, no matter what team he's on

There are probably 20+ guys on the top pairs of the league playing <21 minutes a night

Sanderson should be getting ~24/25 minutes, Chabot ~22/23 per game, which is still easily top minutes among all D in the league.

The guys on the 2nd pair are seeing ~16-19 minutes per game, Chabot shouldn't be compared to them, unless he sees his icetime cut by 5+ minutes per game.

He is 27th thanks to our non existent 3rd pairing but what I mean is collecting the 17th highest D pay check for being the 27th in ice time and 31st in P/GM while being a soft pylon in defense too often (not always) but too often it's not surprising some here would like to trade him.
Just my humble opinion of course

Hahahaha oh wow. Ya thats a no from me too. Seems like the only potential from that is possibly introducing bacteria lol. Thanks for posting.
He seems to be a bit gullible believing you get special powers from eating weird animal parts.
Did you know you get really strong when you eat bulls testicles???
It’s true. And if you eat brains you get really smart.
Keep your dogs away from this guy ;)
(Zdeno Chara and Georges Laraque don’t eat meat. So confusing cause they could both kick his ass)

Ya, that's not an uncommon thing it seeems. I had a friend like that and it got hard to be around with all the things they pushed me to "try" with Dr. Oz this or whatever other hole they pulled their info from.

Is he trying to push it, or is he just trying it himself though. Obviously a big difference and I know exactly what you mean.

I think everyone has one of those in their family somewhere. Can’t completely drop someone when it’s blood…

No he wasn't, and I didn't mean to imply he was or is even the type I was referring to, but I am definitely familiar with the type of people that really buy in to the bull semen cocktails (not seriously) and witch brews. We all have one though, you're right lol.

If he likes eating that stuff, more power to him. No different than pescatarians, vegetarians, vegans, carnivore's, etc. Definitely not for me, definitely not for everyone, but no harm to me what he's doing, nor anyone else.

If he starts pushing and preaching it on others, then it get's annoying in a holier than though aspect. Then he'll get on the wrong side of some people.

Many pro athletes do crazy stuff to try to get an edge or to feel like they're doing everything they can to be successful.

I don't know how many players have serious OCD and they must follow the exact same routine every day otherwise they feel like they had a bad day. The sport ultra competitive and guys will try to find a way to become better any way they can.

Chychrun seems like a hyperfocused type of guy. He doesn't really eat anything "unhealthy". He's absolutely shredded and strong. I'm sure the eating is one thing but he probably does a lot of other stuff that we would find weird.

I think the livers and things like that which he's been eating contain alot of micronutrients that aren't found in other parts of the animal. Whether it's worth it over finding other sources of those nutrients and/or supplementing is another matter lol.

I did question the snake just for cleanliness. Are they dirty, bacteria filled animals like a lot of similar creatures?

Up here in the Yukon, in the famous, Dawson City, we have what's called the Sourtoe Cocktail. You must let the dead mans toe touch your lips or you don't get your certificate lol. I had a shot every time we went up for the annual hockey tourney. Someone accidentally swallowed it a few years ago!

Chabot is not great offensively and also not great defensively. Overpaid at $8M per! What is he really worth? $5M per?
Hey , we can have a chat about Chabot, anytime. But this is a Chychrun thread

I'm sorry after reading your consistent opinions on the games I just don't align with anything you see when you're watching the games.
Likewise, bert. When you like someone, you really like someone

Chychrun and MacKinnon might get along well. Mack can get Chychrun to eat some chickpea pasta while Chychrun get's Mack to have the heart of an alligator or something
Yeah I’ll eat testicles and reptile hearts for breakfast but keep that gluten away please :)

Sounds like there's a TV show opportunity here. Jetsetting the world with Jake and Mack to eat the "delicacies" of other cultures around the globe.

I like researching this stuff too.

Chicken bone broth is some kind of magical elixir.

My skin, hair, nails and most importantly my joints and bones have started feeling so good since I started.

Kimchi is great too.

And apparently 80-90 percent of us are deficient in magnesium.

Highly recommend all three for health.
