He had a few good games when he first got here, but for as big as he is the guy is a band-aid. Tough to get your rhythm going when you play for 2 weeks miss 2 weeks rinse and repeat.

It seemed like every second game in a Sens uni he was laying on the ice for a while after a hit or going down the tunnel before eventually coming back. Maybe it’s your raw meat diet bro lol

Do we have someone that can save the season in the lineup or outside the lineup. Its like being overboard in the middle of the ocean in a storm .. there is a chance you get saved but ...
No, we don't have anyone who will save the season, so whats the rush in playing Kleven, why throw him into the fire before he's ready, there's no need, just play Holden and accept that you will probably lose games either way.

that's a different argument and one I am not going to take the bait on. You getting enough sleep these past few weeks?

Shoot, why didn't all the analysts talk about this guy's inability to be available?

Everyone said he was the best, we got a steal. They never said he only plays 55 games a season because he is injury prone.

I just remember how Bobby Ryan was so bad on his skates he fell down 2 or 3 times a game and was always unavailable to play.

The best ability in sports is availability!

I'm not sure what argument you're referring to, you responded to my post where I was saying I don't think Kleven is getting in any sooner due to Chychrun's injury: my rationale was that the season is not getting saved one way or the other, so there's no reason to rush his schedule. Play him when he's ready to play.

You're introducing the question of whether we have anyone that could potentially save the season, but it's not relevant to my position. If we do, sure, play that guy I guess, since we don't, who we replace Chychrun with has no impact on the season, so we'll likely just do what's in the best interest of the players development and stick with the existing plan.

I wonder if it was that first slam into the boards in NY or the slew foot from Hedman?
There was anther play after the Hedman trip in behind the net, just before he left the game. Don't remember the player, but again it was contact with the feet that made him go down awkwardly into the boards. Didn't look malicious.

He got slew footed twice in the game vs Tampa. So, hard to blame him for being injured after that. We will see next season.

This is the clown eating a carnivore diet right?
Eating carnivore diet would mean eating meat only, which is not what he is doing.

On top of that, calling someone a clown just cause they follow a different diet/philosophy/religion/whatever than you do, says way more about you than about that other person. The guy is a highly praised NHL player. What’s your life achievement?

To be fair he missed unnecessary games cause of being held out of Arizona line up.

But yes this is very concerning
And also covid shortened season.

The numbers aren’t that bad when taking a view things into consideration.
But man I feel like every single game he’s gotten up slow from an every day collision.

I don't think so, unless someone else gets hurt. Kleven won't save the season, so they're going to stick the plan I suspect, if he gets in its because they think he's ready, not because Chychrun is out
DJ made an interesting comment in a recent interview about Kleven. They are definitely going to get him into games, but they’ll be patient until he’s had a few practices, but essentially if another D goes down he’s in.

It was a casual comment, but we’ll have to see how Holden does, and if another guy goes down it’s Kleven time, no mention of calling up guys from Belleville.

When Kleven gets in, it will be a home game for last change, wonder if they go 11-7 for his first game.

To be fair Liver King is absolutely a clown lol. Not saying Chychrun gets his caveman diet from that guy but if he does then yeah he’s got some powder and a red nose on.

Regardless, Arizona fans told us all this. They said dude is made of glass, is meh defensively and is pretty electric in the O zone. Assessment seems pretty accurate as of today.

Still likely a good trade for us but this is why all the Sens fans talking about a fleecing were lying to themselves.

Wouldn’t be the first time they reversed course on a rookie strategy…remember them saying something similar about not calling up Greig and then due to an injury to Norris, called up Greig the very next day

He’s fine in the D zone and pretty good at defending the rush and I would definitely not say electric in the ozone yet lol

He fits in perfectly and we'll never find a better top-4 guy to replace him(took us years to fill that hole in the first place) so I'm happy with Chych here. He's not a true #1 dman from what he's shown, but fortunately that doesn't have to be his role here. Plus, if he can't stay healthy we don't have to re-sign him. All good.

I’m just pointing it out as he keeps getting injured. Guy should stop listening to scam influencers for diet advice and get a dietitian. That’s all I’m saying. What he’s doing is clearly not working.
