Yeah Erik Karlsson is the man he is today because of Cory Clouston. So you don't want to give the coaching staff any credit for his development? Sanderson is just magically playing well?
so does this show there is a coaching problem in ottawa or is there some justification to be used here
Looks suddenly uncomfortable, nervous, unsure , compared to his first two games
I don't think Chychrun - Hamonic is really a great pair. I'd try him with Zub and go back to Sanderson - Hamonic.Looks suddenly uncomfortable, nervous, unsure , compared to his first two games
Part of these games was Columbus-Chicago-Seattle-Vancouver-Calgary. Didn’t look good except for against Columbus. Seattle is decent. But 4 of 10 games were against objectively not very good hockey teams. It shows that the quality of the team you face matters, Chychrun has only played 10 games for us and during one of the toughest schedules I can think of.
5 were against team locked in playoff spots, Cgy and the Pens are battling for a wild card spot and Vancouver has turned things around playing at a 100 pts pace since Tochett and are 10-3-1 in their last 14. None of those teams are currently objectively bad.Part of these games was Columbus-Chicago-Seattle-Vancouver-Calgary. Didn’t look good except for against Columbus. Seattle is decent. Our team is talented enough IMO that we don’t need to expect to look bad against good teams.
And what was our record ? We also had a good record in the “last ten” or whatever period of time. Why is it so cool to look bad against a team like Calgary or Vancouver? We were hot as well. And in a stronger conference. It’s not that we lost. We got obliterated. Our expectations don’t matter. But at some point collectively we need to be like okay we should win this game or at least no get destroyed. Our best players. Should not look terrible tonight. Clb, Chi, sure.
We didn't look bad against the NYR, Colorado, Toronto, all objectively top teams in the league.

Of course not man, it’s like this is your first day. Haters are gonna hate, and nothing gets in the way.So you don't want to give the coaching staff any credit for his development? Sanderson is just magically playing well?
I think next yr they go with ...
Chabot - Zub
Sanderson - Chychrun
Brannstrom - Hamonic/JBD
... unless PD goes out & gets another vet D to take that 3rd pairing LD spot over the summer. He may also need to find an NHL goalie who can stay healthy.

I don't think so, unless someone else gets hurt. Kleven won't save the season, so they're going to stick the plan I suspect, if he gets in its because they think he's ready, not because Chychrun is outWonder if this means we see Kleven in the lineup earlier than expected.
Do we have someone that can save the season in the lineup or outside the lineup. Its like being overboard in the middle of the ocean in a storm .. there is a chance you get saved but ...I don't think so, unless someone else gets hurt.
