For the 50th time, Armstrong has already said they don't mind it if he doesn't get traded and they'll happily keep him.

If they're happy to keep him, he would be playing right now.

He wants to trade him, he's just not worth as much as Arizona pretends he is.

He looks good on a bad team, just like OEL did in Arizona. Vancouver regretted that trade basically instantly. Montreal thought Dvorak looked good on Arizona too, they've also regretted that trade instantly.

A lot of times, players look better on bad teams because everyone around them is even worse.

Lots of bad players look good on a bad team.

OEL looking good on a bad team? OEL looked horrible for the last few years in AZ. This is not the same at all.

He looked much better in Arizona than Vancouver. Same with Dvorak and Montreal.

Putting an average NHL player around ECHLers would make him look like Gretzky. He's worth more to Arizona than anyone else in the league.

I feel bad for Chychrun though, he's been wanting to be traded since he's been drafted basically.

What happened with Keumper?

Leafs can move Murray and let Woll back up to free up space and move Kerfoot to Arizona and a 23 first and 24 first for Chychrun. its do-able. And throw in Holl for shits and giggles.

What happened with Keumper?

Oh true.

He looked much better in Arizona too.

Colorado walked away from him after winning the cup despite his best efforts to lose and now he's putting up his weaker Arizona numbers again on a much better team. Colorado's new goalie is outplaying regular season Kuemper so far, so that's another player who played his best in Arizona.

He was averaging like ~.925+ save percentage for 2 seasons in Arizona and then went to Colorado, performed similar for a regular season and fell off a cliff.

A lot of times, no, most times, players look better on better teams because everyone around them is better.

I wonder what the price for Chychrun will be at the deadline next year as a rental.

Cheaper because he has one less year on his contract and he's got a 10 team no trade list.

Don't tell Bill Armstrong though. Next year he might be worth 3 1sts to him.

Hurry Dougy, Offer a 1st, 2nd, Perunovich, and Robertson so you can get told no and circle back around in a few days. :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

He won’t be a rental at the next deadline.

Who’s left the kings? Anyone else?
Does he play tonite?
Most insiders have been saying for most of the season that they didn’t expect Edmonton or Toronto to get serious about Chychrun. Rumors today that Edmonton talks were heating up were likely leaked by the Oilers to show Nashville they weren’t the only game in town.

Boston was a real player on Chychrun but had the least appealing assets. They seem to me to be the only heavily rumored buyer that has taken themselves out of the market.

Carolina will snag him on Friday for less than what ARI is asking for right now.
I hope you are a legit Jerk and not just pretending to be one. If so, good luck I hope you win another cup.....just send the Coyotes some of your lottery good fortune.

It gives you opportunities not presented on others teams. Like 20+ mins a game with 1st unit PP when you'd be playing 8 mins a night on a good team with 0 PP time.

You don't actually play better, just that your stats look way better because they're not accounting for usage.

Prime example: Nick Ritchie in Toronto vs Nick Ritchie in Arizona. He's not playing any better per se (no one wants him) but his stats look much better.

Big fish in small pond.
