Saw the replay - it was literally directly in front of a ref with no obstruction to the official’s view.

Considering how often we’ve been mugged by Toronto on reviews I’ll consider this a tokenistic attempt to balance the ledger.

So why aren't they showing stick was held and he was getting it loose as someone pointed out?
I had read that bit about the stick being held and reiterated it. But it’s incorrect. I did go back to re-Watch and the bruins guys wasn’t holding Trouba’s stick. Their hands were tied up though and when they broke that up Trouba came around with the stick. Just to be 100% transparent. I also think it clearly wasn’t a malicious intentional stick though I totally think it’s a penalty.

Deserved fine for a mostly accidental play. But the league and opposing fanbases will just use that to say he’s dirty.

Regardless, he’s been awesome this year and really has been very good his entire Ranger tenure. He’s not even that overpaid when you consider every team in the NHL would pay for what he brings. One of the tougher guys in the league and a great leader.

Everyone hates him but would LOVE to have him on their team.

Yeah probably should have been a game or two for that.
He's going to want to be very careful for a while, because they'll call him for a bunch more penalties now
