Trouba leaving is addition by subtraction, and that the toughness element he brought to the lineup did not overcompensate for his shitty play.

Most of us would welcome a player who isn’t a pushover. We don’t want to be a lineup full of soft bitches. There are other problems on this roster, with Trouba having been one of them.

Hopefully this is the first domino, followed by a few more to hopefully rock this core up.

Trouba saying it was tough to lead is interesting. I think this move is going to further offend the guys who were upset about Goodrow. In their minds Drury is uprooting families with these moves. But it's a business! Thats what they tell us peons when they trade our favorite guys for money reasons.

Mika, Kreider, Panarin (to a lesser extent imo) maybe Fox and Trocheck, all have young families, And now that they see no one is safe from being moved, maybe they start to reconsider NY and some NMCs get waived.
