Link to relevant thread? If we needed an example of “whataboutism” this would be it.
You have absolutely no idea what intent Rodrigues had
The example happened. I’m waiting

That is only more logical in your biased mind.So the trainers didn’t bother to give him a concussion test in the locker room instead of using an abundance of caution? What the hell kind of medical staff does that? Or the more logical explanation - Rodrigues told them he wasn’t’t hit in the head to begin with.
The only intent that I could 100% ascribe to Trouba was to stop an attempt on his goal. Idk how people can so confidently say trouba’s intention was malicious.Peel has always been a joke. He doesn't have much more credibility than the average Joe on HFB.
It's the intent to injure that is the problem here, nothing to do with the embelishment anyway.
& Will be among the front of the line when a Ranger gets hit “too hard” next game.also that elbow was pretty low, for sure right into his like torso, compared to Trouba aimed right at his head. there's a difference in them but your a biased fan with a loser mentality on this. he deserved it? so I guess just hurt the other team to win. great stuff pal
Sure, just remember to send me a cheque if you use it.Good band name
you bad, bad manI said it was an elbow?
I think most here agree it was an elbow and thus deserving punishment. Where the disagreement lies is whether or not it was a headshot (as the thread was originally titled). The reading comprehension must be low in yours.
I never said worst elbow, I can think of many with more violent results, if that’s what you mean by “worst”. Remember those are your words, not mine.
I said deliberate elbow attempts. Yes I’ve never seen so many lunges at elbows like this. Go so far outside your body position to try to land an elbow. There’s a difference.
Didnt Lomberg hit Vesey when the puck was nowhere near him, injuring him seriously, knocking him out of the series? Yet no penalty whatsoever!
Last game Rangers get 6 penalties against only 2 for fla. Refs are biased against NY but we still kicked the Panthers ass.
Seems like when NY wins we live rent free in an awful lot of heads. Lol.
Thanks for wearing gloves! The residue from your ultra salty fingers might start corroding the metal, otherwise.
You need a picture of elbow contacting the jaw. All we've seen is A) from the rear, elbow/forearm hitting shoulder/shoulder blade area, and B) from the front, the elbow / forearm behind the head.Do you know how actual time works? His elbow got him in the jaw, his forearm in the neck.
It's not clear his elbow hit anything. You need a picture of it. There is plenty of evidence that Trouba's elbow/forearm hit the shoulder/ shoulder blade area. But I have not seen anything showing significant contact with the jaw.The elbow was literally never in his back. The elbow glanced off the side of his shoulder into his neck/jaw, and his FOREARM, which is the actual anatomical structure in that photo, THEN contacted the small of his back. That picture shows the end of the sequence. It also does not show the elbow, which was the body structure closest to the player, and the part of the body that first made contact. Your question is ironic, based on anatomy, physics, and, well, the actual video. Your hypothesis is that he led with his elbow, somehow made first contact on the player’s back with the forearm, which was not extended, then somehow, without breaking his arm or the other player’s shoulder and rib cage, had his elbow magically wrap around and then contact the player’s neck.
Yeah. Like people keep saying, a lot of NYR fans don't mind Trouba out of the lineup. Then he would be suspended. He’s been the worst ranger all playoffs.

Why were the penalties 6-2 in Florida’s favor? The refs made the wrong call. It should have been a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. Then the league that can review the play messes up even more by giving Truba a $5000.00 fine. The only conclusion that can be made here is that the league wants the Rangers in the finals and win the Cup. It doesn't matter what his intenet was, he clearly and deliberately lead with his elbow to the head of Rodriguez.
You want me to comment on a totally unrelated hit to this one in the wrong thread. Find it for me, if your sense of fairness and feelings need to be some acutely managedIt is in this thread. Find it

This wasn't murder. Trouba was suspended earlier this year, for an elbow that clearly hit the head of another player.not sure how some people get the book thrown at them for their first offense and then guys like Trouba get away with murder
even Tom Wilson. I still dont understand how he only got fined for what he did to Buch
all of DPoS should be fired and made an example of. bring someone in that will treat everyone equally.
Are you... new to watching Trouba play? The only intent that I could 100% ascribe to Trouba was to stop an attempt on his goal. Idk how people can so confidently say trouba’s intention was malicious.
It doesn't matter that the penalties were 6-2 in Florida's favor. The rule states the head is off limits and Truba went directly for the head, he should have been suspended, this is what his third offense this season and him missing games is more critcal and damaging to the Rangers than a 2 minute penalty and a $5000.00 fine.It is in this thread. We could solve the salt crisis with the amount of salty tears that would come from that happening. This clown could be the first person touching the Cup in several weeks.
Trouba was suspended earlier this year. For an elbow that hit the other guy in the head.He keeps getting fines over and over again. The league has enabled him, and after every time, they go "well, he's never been suspended before.... so just a fine is sufficient".
Luckily for Florida, him playing is actually a good thing for them.
Why do people have this expectation that amount of penalties called should be even? Panthers controlled much of the game play, it’s not outrageous that the team without the puck, and under constant pressure at times, will take more penalties. It is in this thread. Find it
