To me it’s just more like what is this bonehead thinking leading with his elbow like that all the time? Like is he actually stupid? More than the hit itself because while it was bad it could’ve been way worse

That doesn’t check out. They have the fewest cups of any original 6 team, less cups as some non-original 6 teams and just as many as the Isles. So, the NHL would have to be pretty inept to be wanting to help the Rags. On the other hand, the NHL is pretty inept. Maybe you’re right.
As much as people hate to admit it, when the Rangers do well, the league does well.

It's pretty fun watching people reach to misdirect and act like all plays are equal.

Equal, as in exact plays deemed to be "penalized the same."

One is a penalty, and another is an attempt penalty. So they must be equal.

Keep reaching/misdirecting to make this look not so bad for Trouba who's a multiple time offender.

Mr, Arthur Morgan stated that intentionaly leading with the elbow should be a series ban. All I did was ask him if Erod should be suspended since he did just that in the same game.

Take the L and move on.

You do know it is “intent to injure” and not the hit itself, right?

You have still yet to address it. And you are trying to call out others for the same.

And I’m not sure what “multiple time offender” offender has to do with it. If someone robs someone is it worse if someone else does it, but they have done it twice before? Brilliant stuff.

Any other non sequiters to consider?
One was intent to injure and the other was intent to make simple contact. Like I said, neither were equal. Trouba struck the jaw, and A-Rod missed an arm.

Intent isn't the same here as far as intent to injure.

Multiple time offender, meaning he's known for it rather than picking some random miss non harming attempt out of plays making it seem equal to an actual.

why would someone be punished for attempting and missing? Trouba is the only one here who actually elbowed someone. but hey keep being biased

wheres the 5 band fine for Rodrigues on the dive? he can more than make it up with his post playing acting career (i can see him now in all the hockey movies they would make lol)

Lawton, get the smelling salts, he has the vapors.

I eagerly await your post about Evan Rodrigues doing the same thing, of course. Because we are talking intention here, right? Not result
When and if he does. I’ll make a post. Unlike you, I’m not just saying things for homerism reasons

Should have had a hearing (no games) for the blatant attempted elbow a while ago, and then this should have been 1-game as a result of th last hearing. Next time, he should get 5+ IMO.

I hate both teams equally but some Rangers fans are delulu af in this lol.
It's to the point that Trouba could be caught on video in public elbowing a group of terminally ill orphans, and the league would just ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ while Rangers fans on here would defend it. The world "zealots" comes to mind.

If we needed an example of “whataboutism” this would be it.

You have absolutely no idea what intent Rodrigues had

When and if he does. I’ll make a post. Unlike you, I’m not just saying things for homerism reasons
The example happened. I’m waiting

If the little bastards had parents then maybe they would have been taught to keep their heads up.

Was or wasn’t Rodrigues taken into concussion protocol? He
came back on the ice quickly. That in and of itself says he wasn’t hit in the head.
Lmaolol really?
All that actually says is he was deemed to be ok after getting hit in the head.
