It's the Eric Lindros/Paul Kariya/Bobby Orr scenarios that are concerning. Hall of Fame players who had limited careers due to injuries. Even Crosby to a certain extent had prime years wrecked because of injuries. That's really disappointing stuff as a fan of the game. All the players I mentioned left a ton of hardware on the table because of injuries, even if they have had great careers.I thought he was already labelled as injury prone?
Bit we've seen guys overcome this and just have a bad spiel if injuries in their career. Crosby has been pretty good for 10 years, and Stamkos missed a lot of time in a short span and pretty solid now too.
For some it never gets fixed, hopefully Hughes is one that is just unlucky
