He looked pretty good last night. If not for a couple of bad bounces, he would have buried a few. But two helpers isn’t bad for his first game back after missing the last four.

People blaming Tkachuk is massive lol. Dude put his hand on Jacks shoulder and Jack paniced and fell down literally for no reason. The fall might be the reason yes, but blaming it on Tkachuk is just borderline crazy.

Hughes got hurt falling into the boards on his ribs in the Canucks game at some point. It bothered him a bit after and the team gave him a rest since they are comfortably in a playoff spot and didn’t need to rush him back in the middle of the regular season. They treaded water and he came back and didn’t miss a beat.

They already confirmed that it wasn't that. But since he played the whole last game before the injury and even assisted the OT winner, that ASG incidence was really the only fall that the fans saw. But
had something happened in that Brady contact, I agree with you. Apparently the Tkachuks and Hughes' are cIose, so I think Brady's intentions were good, tongue in cheek - fun - over defence in an ASG against his friend and Jack just lost his balance awkwardly. But he's back now so all is good.

It's interesting because Quinn has been pretty durable throughout his career with 26 games missed in 6 seasons. Both are about the same size and Quinn gets more ice time. Quinn is so good at avoiding hard hits with his skating, is Jack getting hit a lot?

Hughes played 78/82 games last season. He has played 32/38 games this season. Therefore he played 110 of his last 120 games. Not really that concerning.

Assuming week to week is the rest of this month into Allstar weekend, he will miss another 9, 110 out of 129. Do note, he was week to week both times prior and came back earlier than expected.

I think he came back early both times because it took him a while to get going again once he returned.
