That's it?! Yeah, I think I'll stick with Hoven, the Kings' insider stating that the Kings are out on the Eichel trade back in June.

I don't know how any proposal for Eichel could not include one of Zegras/Mactavish, a good roster player and an unprotected 1st. This is one of the best young centers in the NHL that is a proven PPG player. I think any team trading for him should wait until after his surgery but at least 1 top prospect needs to be included.
I can't find any numbers on other players who've had this injury but based on absolutely nothing I've come up with: "50/50 that he'll be in the league in 4 years and 70/30 his best hockey is in the rearview.".Any team trading for home needs to make sure what they are getting. Right now it’s 50/50 that he will be in the league in 4 years. And 70/30 that his best hockey is in the rear view.
Are there numbers on players with this injury in the NHL (and if so why can’t I find any information on their careers). After listening to the dr’s that have been interviewed, and reading up on this the guy is a land mine. Best case scenario for Buffalo is that they and he find a shared path and he re-finds his love for the game and his health, then is moved in a couple years.
All I see is a link to satire, where is the rumor at ?
I will believe in Santa Claus before I will believe Eklund’s news.

Best to just say his health and future is uncertain. When you start making proclamations like this you come off looking like an absolute fool.

I put no stock in what he says, but I at least want to read names from both teams.
The cost of credibility here is basically paying for a URL. That's what separates Eklund from the rest of the posters here. All I see is a link to satire, where is the rumor at ?
That’s just ludicrous, Ludacris, AND Lutikriss.
Zegras, Guhle and 1st and 2nd round draft picks for Eichal, Weissbach
Zegras isn't happening, not worth continuing to bring up.

That is not what he said at all. Completely stupid to think there could be a trade with the Ducks that involved Zegras and that does not mean he is better right now.The idea tha Zegras is worth than Eichel makes me laugh every time.
Zegras would definitely be part of the package for Eichal if the deal was ever made. Fans can say otherwise, but reality for this trade to happen, is that the starting conversation would be Zegras.
Ducks would easily walk away from a trade before moving zegras.

Ducks are good, trade him to the Rangers. Ducks aren't trading 3 top 5 picks possibly even higher plus for Eichel.
You also got to factor in he still hasn't done his surgery, how many games will he miss due to it? And adding Eichel doesn't suddenly turn Anaheim into a contender, even if their division is weak.It isn't a guarantee that the Ducks '22 1st is going to be top 5.
Again, IMO the Ducks will be much better than last season and if you add Eichel I think they can contend in that weak ass divsion.
The whole point of trading for eichel is to add him to zegrasZegras would definitely be part of the package for Eichal if the deal was ever made. Fans can say otherwise, but reality for this trade to happen, is that the starting conversation would be Zegras.
At this point with a surgery likely on the horizon, you are getting Eichel for 4 years and paying him for 5. No bueno.
