Can I like this one five times?Jack Edwards is the Rene Rancourt of broadcasters. Bruins fans love them but they are both horrible.
At least one is retired. Can’t be soon enough for the other.

I read this whole comment in a completely obnoxious caricature of a Boston accent and it was funny so I did it again. "my brothers and I still..." "FREAKin' brawdcasta" "new invention PEOPLE..."
It's so good, I can't stop.
Was being sarcastic, Nem. The silliness of pluralizing by adding an apostrophe and an "s" at the end of a noun is a pet peeve of mine. That's still not how you use an apostrophe. Contractions and possessives. Not plurals or any random word ending in "s"
In more on-topic trains of thought: Jack Edwards continues saying dumb hyperbolic stuff. In other news: water, wet. Sky, blue. More at 11.

But there’s no shortage of pro-Oilers bias in Jack Michaels’s calls either. Then again, I’d want little to do with a Battle of Alberta called with neutrality.
I was taught both Michaels' and Michaels's are acceptable although the latter looks f***ing horrible.Speaking of misused apostrophes, you don't use 's after a name ending in s.
The correct usage would be "... Jack Michaels' calls..."

Jack is the GOAT because all announcers are somewhat biased but Jack's bias has a bit of wit while all the the others seem to be serious idiots.
I can see this convo with Don CherryColour commentator... those words dont mean what you think the mean.
Hes a play by play guy. Brickley does the colour.

Not a Bruins fan but I enjoy Edwards biased commentary most of the time. He's a homer. So what.
Disagreed. The apostrophe outside of the ‘s’ infers possession by more than one.Speaking of misused apostrophes, you don't use 's after a name ending in s.

“The puck was in the players’ bench”.
Rolling your way doesn’t make this distinction.
He probably knows more about opposing teams roster/depth/prospects than any other announcers, his knowledge is on point.
He's constantly gushing over other teams prospects/players.
Hmmmm. Fair enuf.Key word in my statement was "name."
LOL the BS is strong in this post
