In what world is it a tie?

I gotta say, feeling a lot better about Campbell today. The fact that he didn't play in the last one had me a bit worried but he's back and looked great.

In the post game interview he said something about managing his health or something like that, does anyone know WTF he's talking about? Is there some lingering injury or what's going on exactly?

Do you expect anyone from TSN except for McKenzie and Johnson to say anything smart? It’s a god damn mess over there.

Last night I had to fall asleep early, so I turned the game off after the second. Typically I would be a little anxious doing this, but I had sweet dreams as soon as my little head touched the pillow knowing that we were safe in Jack's capable hands.

Thank you, Jack, for my sweet dreams.

Campbell taking over the starting job and running with it is exactly what every one of us Leafs fans could have hoped for this season. Fingers crossed that he stays healthy. And hopefully Andersen will be healthy enough to ride the pine for the playoffs if or until he's needed. Not a terrible situation other than the wonky health of Andersen and Campbell. I would be more comfortable with a 3rd option who is better than Hutchinson although Hutchinson has a history of hot streaks at the NHL level.

Hopefully Jack keeps playing like a quality starter, Andersen comes back, he plays well enough to give Jack a rest every now and then and we head to the playoffs with two goalies we're not afraid to play. One can dream.

If he keeps winning and is healthy, it's going to be a tough sell to say Andersen goes back as a #1.
 
Campbell is a great backup for the leafs to have come playoffs. Assuming Andersen is ready to go that is. Doesn’t Andersen usually take a bit of time to get in his groove? Maybe not as ideal a backup as Campbell would be.

Ride Andersen as long as you can, and come in with Campbell if needed.

Or Keefe could just ask Marner who he’d start.

Amazing amazing amazing ... not sure if you noticed but there was a very high point shot from Jets where Soupy OMG did not drop to his knees like freddy does every single time like a robot and guess what it got deflected and because he was standing up it hit him in shoulder ... there was a guaranteed goal by Jets if Freddy was in our net last night as it would have gone over freddy's shoulder and everyone would be saying on here of well it was deflected ... yes that is da point ... a smart athletic goaler plays game different ... he sees a high shot and stays up and makes da correct read ...

Da only thing guaranteed with Freddy is another 1st round loss ... 0-8 when it counts ... he is done thank god ... hope he goes on LTIR so we can get more help for playoff run

I'm assuming that in 2021 we're over the tired trope of "a veteran can't lose his job due to injury". If an injury renders a veteran unable to perform to a level he did before and there's a better option, the team has to act accordingly for the benefit of the team.

Some sort of weird group think and group conformity happening at TSN. O'Dog said something similar about Andersen. It's like they don't want to contradict, or go against, a colleague's viewpoint and end up reinforcing it. Even if dumb.

I'm sure if he was still here he'd say the only difference is Andy isn't getting the same support on the ice as Campbell and that he stands by his starter, and that would be his justification for starting Andersen.

Thankfully we don't have to deal with that anymore.

I don't care what a panel thinks, I care what our coach and GM think.

If they still think Freddy is our go to guy in the playoffs given everything that has transpired until now, we're in big trouble.

Yeah I saw that too. Why does Freddy automatically be the no1 when he gets back? Jeff implied Jeff is the guy but Campbell can give him a rest here and there. Give me a break. If Campbell is playing better, he should be starting.

If Andersen continues his bad play, and Campbell still play well, but they give Andersen the reigns in the playoffs, I want everybody fired.

It's about the biggest no brainer lineup decision the Leafs can make.
