No one is talking about this guy much, but the guy is a jack russell, full on...

But oh no, we also signed Kase and Kampf...

These two guys, are like, okay we win playoff rounds all day long...

But oh no, we have Jack ASS holster, Campbell....

And oh no, we have two young best friend swedes, best buds, playing NHL hockey, together...

This is a team, that after so many years, of allegiance... I am proud of....

Watch Ritchie and Engvall..

Seems high but possible I guess, no way to know for sure. If the price was 5x5 in the summer though, I don't even want to think about what it might be next summer if he continues playing the way he has been.

8 year deal if he signs for 1.5 below market value. If his play falls off a cliff after 4 or 5 years we can deal with it then.

How does this has only 4 likes? This is criminality to the max. I get that he might cost a lot of money but that's on your gm and not him. The way he is playing he might as well give you the best chance at cup this year, how can you guys be such a SOBs? Pathetic I guess this is why we can't win a cup. There is no appreciation.

Many players don't like to negotiate during season. Campbell could be one of those kinda guys. I wouldn't worry about it too much tbh. I think it's clear he only wants to play here hes shown it and also said how much he appreciates wearing the Maple Leaf.

The contract will get done, just a matter of time. What's important is he is under contract for this current season so he isn't going anywhere. Let's enjoy the run.

I picked him up when somebody dropped him right around when Mrazek went down. Perfect timing. 4th best player so far this season in total and average pts.

The longer he goes unsigned, the more anxious I become about if we can resign him.

Hopeful that we can, and he’s a good guy in negotiations and follows Rielly in negotiations, but he’s earned his payday.

Hope we get him signed sooner than later…..

I rewatched the last game. Soupy played pretty well but his impact is over stated in that one. Whereas Anaheim had a lot of shots,the quality just wasnt there. The leafs did a great job defensively albeit part of that is trust that their goalie will stop the shots he can see.
There is a symbiotic relationship here. Get Woll in for a few more games and stregthen the trust the team has in HIM. That should mitigate any short term injury that may come to Soupy
 
When a goalie has a .946sv% and leading the league in sv% gaa and wins it might not be the best time to sign him.

Totally agree as usual with zeke....Soup isn't exactly a youngster, his next contract is potentially his last... his personality alone is worth millions, forget how excellent a goaler he is...

What team wouldn't want a guy like him....
 
Nice that Campbell is chosen as the second star for the month of November with our ex Kadri being the 3rd star.

Can you imagine if we finally made a deep run in the playoffs, say we even get to the finals before losing and then Campbell leaves cause gets an offer we just can't compete with? Then we head into next season with Mrazek and whoever else, not a pleasant thought.

The player (read: agent) may not be eager to sign; or be fine with waiting, depending upon any offer on the table. The team should very much want to reach an agreement though with the numbers continuing to look great.

Considering how little money Campbell has made during his career, it's hard to believe he wouldn't be interested in doing an extension NOW that locks in 10+ million for him. The injury risk is always there, it's the one bit of leverage we have so let's use it.
