Can you explain? I love the Jays but don't follow the league as much as I follow the rest of the teams in the NHL as a Leafs fan. I know the Jays inside out but my knowledge on players in the NL isn't massive.
Never say never. But theu will likely go cheaper for 1 more starter. They still need help in other places like another infielder and more bullpen helpWould signing Gausman take them out re-signing Ray?
How much is Rodon expected to get?Never say never. But theu will likely go cheaper for 1 more starter. They still need help in other places like another infielder and more bullpen help
Unless they really want to skimp out elsewhere then probably. But they've likely still got up to 40 million to spend so it's not impossible. Long term it could be a squeeze though. I think they look shorter term now. Which for another good pitcher is probably Rodon or cheaper medium term with Gray.

I don't think so. Ryu is coming off the books in two-years, they could structure these deals in a certain way that allows us to re-sign Ray even with the Gausman addition. But either way, even if we don't re-sign Ray, its going to be a very good rotation.Would signing Gausman take them out re-signing Ray?
GET BACK IN THE SHOWER!
I can't see the Jays spending 50+ million a year on 2 pitchers that are most likely going to be getting 5+ years. With Berrios and Ray, you're looking at almost an 85 million dollar rotation
Top free agent bats eh.
