Habs 4 Life
No Excuses
Same here, especially considering he is a UFA. Maybe they have a deal in placeDidn’t expect foligno to be includedd

Lol he’s not untouchable at all. In fact I’m sure this regime would welcome the opportunity to move on from him while acquiring Dubois.False false false. He is very untouchable being an offensive big body and most of all a righty
yes, perhaps they want him in Chicago to take care of the young guys and play somewhat of a policemanIsn't Foligno a UFA?
You forgot the . Chill.Sure, give WPG the choice. Also add Evans as a guy who can play now in the place of another player they don't want from the list.
Imagine they swoop in for him.Bruins clearing cap for Dubois E6
Take himImagine they swoop in for him.
I'd even argue that Carey Price contract killed any chance he had to win a cup. If he had accepted $8M (which is an insane amount as it is) and the extra $2.5M went towards even better defense (UFA) then he'd have cemented his career and legacy.
I understand the objective is to make "as much as possible" but at what point does life become easier on a winning team for 5 years? there is no difference in lifestyle btw $8M and $10M, it's not like $80K v $100K for us commoners. or even $1M v $3M for the ELC guys.
If the Habs had any leverage or showed any competitiveness Carey would've likely taken a small haircut. See how PIttsburgh did it. But the Habs didn't have anybody in the pipeline or anywhere who could remotely help carry the load and do Carey wasn't going to leave money on the table for nothing.I'd even argue that Carey Price contract killed any chance he had to win a cup. I think if PLD is at the point of negociating with the Kings, that the deal is done pending his signing a deal.I think the ones who are really holding outs may be the Jets. Both the Kings and the Habs know they isn't a lot of suitors for PLD so they have little incentive to be generous in their trade offer. The Jets have every incentives to drag this as long as possible in the hope of not getting screwed too much.
35 players scored from 60-69 points in the NHL last season and if that production commands 9 million a year then it is going to be very tough to be a winning team especially for Canadian teams. I am willing to bet that RHP could get between 40-60 points if given a legit shot with good linemates and will only cost 2-3 million a season. Dubois does not bring enough to a team to justify a 9 million per season salary. Let Bergie have him and see how it turns out for them.Come on man... You're better than this!
I predicted that the Bruins would get him.Imagine they swoop in for him.
Bruins are going after lindholm I’d betI predicted that the Bruins would get him.
It was not in 82 games buddy...35 players scored from 60-69 points in the NHL last season and if that production commands 9 million a year then it is going to be very tough to be a winning team especially for Canadian teams. Hanifin?
With 16 teams in professional tank mode for half the season these days I just hope they blow up the cap soon and just let gm’s try and build winning teams, screw this rebuild by building crap teams business!I thought Chicago had taken a rebuilding direction. Is it over just because they landed Bedard?

Man, Bruins moving and shaking.Another trade for the Bruins
Shane Bowers to NJD in exchange for Reilly Wash
He has 434 games in the NHL with 302 points, which translates to .69 points per game, about 57 points averaged over an 82-game season. He is well past the 300 NHL game milestone which usually gives us an indication of what a player will produce stats-wise.It was not in 82 games buddy...
And the 9M was just speculations
