No they aren't. Iafallo is mediocre and Vilardi might be but he is also a glass body.IMHO, Villardi + Iafallo > Dubois. I don't know why the Kings want to do this.

I honestly don't know why they'd want to part with Vilardi considering his age. I'm aware their center core is aging with Kopitar and Danault, but I feel it would be just smarter to try to put Vilardi at center, or try to put Byfield in a top 6 role.
One would think it would be a lot more expensive than that no?Vilardi and Iafallo? I imagine it’s PLD and Hellebuyck.
Not a chance Dach is far better than either of those 2 and Anderson is similar to Iafallo.Probably Dach and Anderson; although I still feel Vilardi and Iafallo is a better package.
True. He could be firm on $9M and basically kill the deal.I remind everyone that this whole LA thing depends on Dubois signing an extension. He controls the whole thing. Jets are fabricating leverage that might not exist.
Wouldn't they need to dump more players to create Cap Space? Figure 16M for both those guys is probably not far off.Vilardi and Iafallo? I imagine it’s PLD and Hellebuyck.
I'm not sure if I trust pagnotta as a source but the Durzi trade certainly looks like LA are opening up cap. The thing is LA minus Iafallo, Vilardi and Durzi are worse than adding Dubois. I wonder if Bergevin is just trying to spite us.
True. Always forget how young Dubois still is, and how "old" Vilardi is because he's often been injured.Vilardi will turn 24 in August. PLD just turned 25 yesterday.
They're trading a center who put 40+ points for a center/winger who put up 60+ points (and has done it twice before that).
I would think, but beat writers kept saying it’s a bigger deal and they desperately need a goalie. One would think it would be a lot more expensive than that no?
LA would have to throw in 2 or 3 firsts to to get both. One would think it would be a lot more expensive than that no?
After we lost the mid-first pick from Florida, we may lose PLD and Michkov... What we did to deserve that ?

Maybe Danault will ask for a trade instead and we pick him up again for 50% the salary this timeWhen the deal gets done, an overjoyed Bergy, trying his best to contain his laughter is going to personally call Danault and to let him know he’s going back to his 3rd line C shut down role next season, with no PP time.
I don't see a huge difference from what they have now. It would make more sense to target Helle as they'll never get through Edmonton fighting fire with fire.I don't think so. PLD will out produce Vilardi & Iafallo combined. Winnipeg is getting worse.
PLD may play wing with LAKs.
PLD - Kopitar - Kempe
Arvidsson - Danault - Fiala
Moore - Byfield - Kalieyev
Grundstrom - Kupari - Lizottte
Is a pretty deep group. It opens up permanent spots for Byfield, Kalieyev & Kupari too.
PLD is the Kopitar replacement. Kopitar is 36 in August, so he's year to year. His $10m is done next year, and even if he resigns its probably at half that.
It wouldn't be the first time idiot MB outbid himself.Well as this thing winds down it's definitely been entertaining. Trying to see through the smoke and misinformation has been next to impossible.
I'm absolutely certain Winnipeg has been seeding the clouds trying to make it rain in the desert. List of 6 teams my ass 4 of them probably had no interest and or no cap. If they pull this deal out of LA I'll be rolling in the aisle. Bergevin and Co bidding against themselves.
