Show me another thread that is 250 pages long about a player that does NOT play for the Habs

There are lots of 60 point players in the league to pursue, but everyone is obsessed with PLD, you can't tell me none of the obsession has to do with his heritage

Why wasn't there a 250 page thread about Kadri last off season?

I wonder if that is the case... Kent would rather spend assets on Fantilli then do them for PLD

No, he did not. I said it was implied. "Team friendly" literally means "below market value." It may sound nice now but in a few years, once other players have signed more lucrative contracts, it could create tension, if that is how he perceives it. He's not the GM and shouldn't really discuss the contracts of other players in my opinion which are dependent on a lot of factors out of his and the GM's control.

Anytime the media in Montreal talk about what could be, especially with a home grown kid, we the habs fans go bonkers.....
We are passionate and hungry for habs news...........oh and we are bored.

Not sure he's back peddling at all.

Just stating what he's hearing.

Doesn't mention if PLD will sign, or if LA is fine getting him for a year.

Will be interesting to see, but like normal Habs are 1 of a few teams that are at the end and they might lose out.

However, if the cost just to get him is huge and he gets like 8.5... Enjoy, LA.

I haven't listened, but even just reading what the Jets columnist on The Athletic is saying combined with this new info, he's going to be a King if he's willing to sign.

The trade there just makes way too much sense compared to anything we'd have to offer. I thought we had (obviously) a great chance to land him when it seemed like it was MTL or bust, but since the team options have opened up that changed things drastically.

I'm gonna go with my original take and say PLD makes it to 2024 without a long term contract. He's either going to test ufa or get his rights traded to Habs, etc before the offseason of 2024

Friedman just throws shit in any direction and hope to land on something. We all know Dubois in MTL was not a thing , friedman just wanted clicks.

How many times do they use Montreal of Leafs not connected to any players.

Kinda sad at this point. But Dubois is not worth the money is gonna get
