Sound Tigers lose in overtime
Didn't learn your lesson with Wahlstrom? Stats in the AHL are meaningless. Or the Tambellini's of the world would be NHL stars.
Him and bolduc are guys I feel very confident in under trotz. Adding in more potential offensive defenseman always makes me happy, especially in this NHLRobin Salo has some seriously good numbers.
Did Golyshev play?
By the time Golyshev is available to practice there will be maybe 5 games left on Bridgeport's schedule. He won't even be eligible for a while.
First, passport issues.
Second, quarantine issues.

agreed, and i would add Salo(46th). of note... Holstrom is the only 1st round pick of the bunch, and i would rate Bolduc over him, right now..Isles focus should be on four guys: Holmstrom, Bolduc(57th), Ishakov(43rd) and Wilde (41st). Keep those guys around
Reminder good teams find talent outside of the 1st round also. The isles have been able to do that the past few years, and it helps massively when you also hit in both 2015 and 2018 as of late. Holmstrom has good potential, and I won't deny that he's a very talented player either.agreed, and of note... Holstrom is the only 1st round pick of the bunch, and i would rate Bolduc over him, right now..
also of note:
Nelson - 30th overall
Lee - 152nd overall
Pageau - 96th overall
Czikas - 92nd overall
Pelech - 65th overall
and also let's not forget that both MDC and JHS were high and late 1st rounders. and this is just our team. it certainly isn't an anomaly, amongst teams.
lets not panic. no need to.
Why would Seattle want him?? He is a nobody. Dime a dozen, unproven player who'll most likely never make the NHL as a regular. Is Goly here because we are planning on losing a RW for expansion OR is he being used as potential expansion bait?

Newkirk seems to be doing well as an overager in the WHL right now. I kinda hope he hops over to the AHL as soon as possible since hes one of our rare centermen prospects
They gotta sign him anyways. I don't want to lose out on any centermen, especially with how thin our pool isI believe he's gotta be signed one way or another, right?
CHLer rights are only held for two years.
He's not actually an overager, you have be 20 when the season starts for that to happen. Newkirk was 19.Newkirk seems to be doing well as an overager in the WHL right now. I kinda hope he hops over to the AHL as soon as possible since hes one of our rare centermen prospects

Honestly feels like we have about 100,000 players on our AHL roster, so I'm not surprised by any rando name I see pop up down there.Brett Neumann getting his fourth AHL game in today, playing on the wing with Holmstrom and Koivula.
If you told me before today we had an AHLer named Brett Neumann I would have said you were lying.
