He's showing good speed on that goal. He was never a bad skater before, just seems to be faster now. Also, he toned up, got stronger.

still hoping we could maybe get back into the first round or at least the 2nd round.

2015 we didn’t have any picks in the 1st round and we ended the night with 2. You never know.

either way, we definitely need to make some trades and shed some salary.

The number of the dman looks to be 37 meaning it would be Adam Ginning. Those that like to watch the World Juniors might recognize him. It's a preseason type of goal

Gets me giddy. Says a lot about the guys commitment coming into a situation where he’s away from family and isolated with absolutely zero chance to play. He’s making another family now!

Two things popped to me about Wahlstrom when he was up at the beginning of last season. 1. He showed a lot of raw skills. Great wrist shot and good skater. 2. He had some good bite to his game! Seemed like he liked laying out big hits and had no problem mixing it up. The reality is he was a bit lost during his time in the bigs last year but I saw enough to get excited. The development process is a funny thing, you never know when the light will go on. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Wahlstrom , or Bellows for that matter, be THAT guy we've been looking for on Barzal's wing!
