Definitely, it came at the cost of Paulie somehow giving an agent power of attorney over the Balboa estate . . . never really figured out how that was legal.

Well, don't forget Rocky had brain damage at the time from the Drago fight. It wasn't until 15 years later when he recuperated, opening up a restaurant, that he had all his faculties. So it is totally logical that Paulie probably convinced Adrienne to give the agent power of attorney based on these facts.

It's funny how Rocky 5 has been almost erased from existence. You routinely see Rocky 1-4 on assorted channels, but never Rocky 5. I can't remember the last time I've seen it aired. Even Rocky Balboa (when he makes the comeback) gets pretty good play, Creed is on all the time.

Rocky 5 was sooooo bad. Honestly after 4 I haven't liked any of them but 5 was completely unwatchable.

Rocky V did however have one of the best lines out of all the movies though.

Rocky Balboa was actually pretty good, all things considered. Rocky 5 was truly awful though.

It was watchable and certainly better than 5 but at that point the story had run it's course and there was no reason for it to be made. A 60 year old ex champion taking on the current champ in an exhibition match so that the current champ could gain credibility? If he could've forgone that story line and went straight into the Creed story line in the 6th installment it would've made more sense and we could easily ignore the brain damage from 5. But to fight again? It just killed it for me.

If these leagues in Europe have a fixed start date, and players can be recalled at some point, it would be a no-brainer to lend some of our young guys to play there, so they're getting some games in before Dec.

Agreed, Holmstrom was looking good for a couple weeks before the shutdown. Hopefully that will carryover to the upcoming season.

I was disappointed when the Isles didn't grab one of the center prospects, it seemed like the perfect marriage of need and BPA.

However, if they can develop Wahlstrom and Holmstrom, it might all work out with Barzal, Nelson and JGP all entrenched in the top-3 center spots.
