not sure if this was posted yet but dorsett is hilarious

Dorsett's a funny mf. One of the only likeable players on this team right now :).

I muted the TV, what'd he say ?

I'm not great at digging up videos, so from memory, it was following the period when Clutterbuck kind of stuck his finger in Dorsett's face, and Al asked him about it, and Dorsett said something like, yeah I played against him in the west I know his antics, he's not gonna answer the bell, so if he wants to go, it's an open invitation.

so i worked late tonight......over the years, when i work the late shift, i'd dvr the games......and i never looked at the score until i got home to watch the recording. I am finally at the point where i look to see the score before i watch the games........glad I do this now, not watching this garbage team so far this season has saved so many hours of my life.

Also, how did our super elite winger Rick Nash do tonight? I must have been the only guy who scored our three goals right? Well, maybe not all 3 goals, but he surely must have had a goal and a few assists tonight, right?

Every team in the league should have a $8 million per year complimentary player. :help:

I think it would be good HF bonding to pool together some money for a hit. :sarcasm:

We can have a poll for the player and everything! They are guilty of robbing us of our livelyhood.

And that Dorsett thing is beyond racist. Wouldn't surprise me if he got suspended for that.

I wasnt able to join the guys and gals for tonight's game, but i watched the replay. The constant thing that ive been noticing over several games is the Turnovers and lack of defense. When i am here for a game ill constantly point out that there are way to many TURNOVERS.....2 breakways tonight killed us. You take those 2 away we win 3-2 or 4-2 if we get an empty netter...the defense is getting burned like burnt toast...which is leading to goals and or penalties committed. Now we want our goalie to make saves but its unreasonable to think that he is gonna make every save especially like tonight where you give up two breakaways...Defense is horrid. And is killing us....for the reasons stated above.

I somehow missed this game on the schedule, so I missed it completely. Lucky me! I think it's the first Rangers game I've missed watching in about 10 years or so.

Truly rock bottom. I'm honestly a little shocked that they managed to lose this one, considering the must-win nature of this game and the terrible team that the Isles are. I was expecting some real desperation.

The excuses have finally run out. In the preseason, it was "only the preseason". Then it was blamed on AV and the new system. The injuries to various, supposedly key players.
If only Nash was playing, right? Lundqvist will bounce back any day now.

It's interesting that when Lundqvist is hot and dominating, he's world-class and a god that should be worshipped by all.
Give him as much money as he wants. After all, he's the one who carries the team.
The tone completely changes when he's playing poorly. Then he's an unfairly targeted piece in a puzzle much larger than any single player. You can't have it both ways.

Oh and Nash is a piece of ****. I'm so sick of these overpaid "superstar" players who coast around night in and night out, then explode for a multi-point game once a month.

At what point is enough enough? Sather brought Vigneault in to win a cup this season, & from the second he got here he has been crying he doesn't have the players to win.

I can't see how blowing this team up & allowing this guy to continue to be the coach makes any sense. He was here to bring this team to the next level, not a total rebuild which is what we are most likely looking at. This team is beyond re-tooling. Anything less than a rebuild is kicking the can down the road & Vigneault shouldn't be the coach.

Everyone should be on the table via a trade EVERYONE.

Looks like the pads made lundqvist what he was.. devils fans were right.

I'm sorry, but no one will ever convince me that a goalie should be making 8+ mil a year in this day and age. Defense trumps everything

Haha. Zucc with -3 in this game.

Is it possible for him to transfer the minuses over to Hank´s stats? :)

Stockpiling picks and rebuilding with lottery drafts is a good theor. but this franchise has never had success going that route. It's never been done. Neil Smith had back to back drafts with the 7th, 4th and 9th overall picks and all three were busts.

You win with goaltending. The Rangers duo of Vanbiesbrouck and Richter made the Rangers competitive and something to build around. Lundqvist the same.

Henrik is too old for a rebuild. Sather's plan has failed. He cant go for hired guns for a Cup run with a small window because he has 25 million tied up in three players -- and all three are locked up long term.

This is the team we'll see for the rest of the season, minus one or two minor moves. The Flyers were a 100-point team in 2006, failed miserably in 2007 and went to the SCF three seasons later.

At this point, just ride these guys out. Play the younger guys. Miller, Kreider, McIlrath, Fast, Moore and Stepan. Give them a chance to get experience win or lose. Draft a top-10 pick and start all over again.

2010 was a lost season for the Rangers. Very disappointing after a great start. Two years later they were in the ECF.

The tank and rebuild route doesn't work in NYbecause people want satisfaction now... But we knew that already... In that kind of environment it is easier to build around a goalie ...

If the rangers go the route you suggested, that syggests that sather is admitting failure

9 game home stand. 10 of the first 11 games this month were at home. Lost to Winnipeg,Washington,Columbus,Nashville and the Islanders. One of those teams in currently in a playoff spot. Beat the Flames in a 7 round shootout. Another non-playoff team. Lost to Jersey and Pitt in the loser point games. 1-5-2. Beat Buffalo on the road in a terrible hockey game. They have Minnesota and Toronto on Sunday and Monday. 5 game road trip to Washington,TB,FLA,Pitt and TO. Home game against Columbus. Road game in Chicago.

The Ship Be Sinking.

Then the media asked how far can the ship sink

Sugar Ray Richardson said "Sky's the limit".

During the end of his Knicks career, Richardson uttered a line that has now become infamous.

A reporter asked him, "What do you think is happening to the team?"

"The ship be sinking," Richardson replied.

"How far can it sink?"

"Sky's the limit."

Looking back now, Richardson stands by the line.

"At that time we were sinking," he said

Rick Nash is next Dany Heatley.
He will detoriarate with ages coming...
I would recommend to get rid of him soon as possible, because in two years from now no one will take 7.8 mil cap.
Ok, Holmgren maybe.
