I don't know, I think she's actually gotten better over time. Not great but passable.

I hadn't heard her all that much but after the two games against Calgary I can say yeah, she leaves a lot to be desired. Her voice is fine but her analysis is surface level or just flat out wrong.

Sometimes it seems like she's reading the teleprompter for the wrong game.

I don't mind her basic stuff, but sometimes when she's trying to add a little extra, I'm like, "What game are you watching, Cassie?"

On top of being boring and bland, why is she constantly cutting off Cuthbert like she was tonight? It'll be in-game and she's cutting off the guy mid-play. That's not her job.

I find Campbell is a good analyst at a round table setting when she's not giving vanilla answers (that applies to most former hockey players.)

As an announcer/color though I don't think she's very good. Maybe with more experience that will change. I find she talks at strange times and her commentary often goes on too long.

I find she gives zero helpful commentary or insights and makes analysis I was capable of Making at 14. Just very obvious stuff. Bring more useful comments regarding the replays instead of “the goalie made the save off a shot” (exaggeration but wow very abc)

Unfortunately, that describes almost all color commentators.

Her voice doesn't bother me. I don't think she's very good, but at least she doesn't go on and on about the way things used to be like former NHLers do.

The Oilers chased Rittich in 2nd? Then they chased Talbot in the 3rd, and Cassie chimes in that it means advantage Calgary because Rittich was already warmed up.

I haven't watched enough Flames to develop an opinion but I like her arguments on the Sportsnet panels. I've learned a few things about the game from watching her, which is more than I can say about 95% of players that go on to tv careers. Most of them never explain anything in terms of x's and o's or any detail of the game like that.

She can fix her enthusiasm pretty easily, but that woman needs to read a book if she wants to improve.

Well, wasn't Talbot (and Smith) tossed because they fought? Either way, the logic was awfully specious because the Oilers had a 3-goal lead to work with entering the 3rd period. Whatever "advantage" Calgary had was nullified and then some because they had a pretty good lead beforehand.
