Damn, really? I liked him whenever he subbed in for Brendan Burke on the Utica Comets broadcast. He actually called the franchise's first ever game.

She's very ok. When Ray Ferraro started he was distractingly bad, but he's slowly become, imo, the best in the business. His early stuff was really cookie cutter and boring but you can see how much getting comfortable has pulled his personality out. There are worse than her. I'm fine giving her some time, let her sink or swim.

I like her. She makes some poignant observations. You can tell she studied the game.

You could almost say, it sounds like she played the game at the highest level, and understands what's going on (being one of the greatest women to play h0ckey ever) and relaying what she's watching just comes naturally to her.

The Kings were spoiled with Bob Miller. Listening to other local broadcasts, Faust is easily in the top 3rd of the league

This. Both her and Mleczko for NBC sound boring in their voice and overuse cliches, but they’re both relatively new. Hoping they both get better and I assume they will, just not sure to what extent.

A J is a good deal worse though. Down right painful to listen to sometimes.

I asked the wife if she minded me switching to the other feed and she told me "you can't do it quick enough". First time I've heard her commentate a game and it was awkward to say the least.

I assume she does a lot of research going into each game and just kills it on the delivery. It's like nothing she commentates matches the flow of the game or emotions. Also the pauses in speaking right in the moment, just to utter a random fact that was googled before the game about a players hometown or something.

I hadn't heard her all that much but after the two games against Calgary I can say yeah, she leaves a lot to be desired. Her voice is fine but her analysis is surface level or just flat out wrong.
