Sharks, Ducks, Kings, Stars, Kings are the next 5 games. We could be dead last in the league by the end of the month.

Weren't we tied for first in the division at the beginning of November?

At some point you have to break the cycle, and keeping or building assets is the only way to give yourself as many chances as possible to do so.
The salary cap has a significant effect on keeping your assets though. Especially if you intend on addressing other aspects of your roster.

The job wasn't easy. Our team's payroll was a timebomb and the lack of depth in our farm system forecasted some tough trades and some questionable UFA signings regardless of who the GM was.

Regardless, if we miss this year, anybody in that office who wears a suit--even occasionally--gets shown the door. There's zero excuse for missing two years in a row after being a game away from the Conference Finals.

Ryan Spooner 2 GP, 4 5v5 goals against

"Even trade"
At least let the guy get some practice in with the team....he knows nothing about our terrible system.

You're 1-6 in your last 7 games. You just came off a miserable season where you were expected to go far in the playoffs and did nothing. You have a hall of fame, well respected coach on the market who is reportedly interested in coaching again this season. There is no reason McLellan should be coaching this team on Tuesday even if it's not Quenneville.

Nurse , Lucic, RNH, Talbot are all loathsome garbage, fllush out tomorrow
Loathsome garbage

The fact that this post is closer to reality than ever before is scary.

I'd be shocked as well. There's just absolutely NO chance you keep a coach after tonight. Chia would be exposed as the total fool that he is if he were to keep him around. There's just no way around it at this point.

If Todd isn't fired, then Chia becomes the laughing stock by association. He has to prevent that at all costs and will fire Todd. Or he's too stupid/timid to do it.

It’s funny. Even if Chia bites the bullet soon (I don’t believe he will) this season will be a lost anyways. The turnaround that has to happen on this roster is no easy task for anyone. I doubt SteveY would have an easy job with it. Lucic, Talbot, Kassian,, Caggulia, Spooner , Benning all need to GTFO but nobody would be willing to take 85 percent of those guys. So unless we retain salary on them we’re boned

Have you watched a lot of spooner? Give him a chance, don’t crap on him because he’s apart of the eberle trade tree. And you wonder why people don’t line up to play here.
