Is Mitch Marner the 2nd best RW in the game, right behind Kucherov?

You brought up Draisaitl LOL

Btw Drai scored 1 less point in last years playoffs than Marner has in his entire career LMFAO
Yeah, and an Oilers fan brought up Hyman in an attempt to dunk on Matthews when the thread involves neither of them. You're so bothered with one Leaf fan bringing up Draisaitl but of course ignore your fellow fans trying to hijack the thread.

I mean, you have the same standard troll posters coming in here with nonsense like Matthews held back Hyman and trying to totally hijack a thread, but you fixate on one Leafs fan instead of people actually disrupting the thread that wasn't even started by a Leafs fan.

Did you even read the OP and the thread? Or just open it seething mad so that you could post this nonsense?
The OP, literally, only wrote "I can't see how he's not, the kid is pretty elite. Easily the second best forward on the Leafs."

Wow, so many people sleeping on Kaprizov. He's way ahead of Pastrnak over the past three seasons. The only RW with more points 5v5 mentioned in this thread since Kaprizov entered the league is, surprise surprise, Marner. Not saying he's better though, but it's a pretty big gap of 36 5v5 points down to Pasta from where Kaprizov is. Make that all situations and Kaprizov is still 29 points ahead of Pastrnak.

EDIT: This was obviously a RW discussion and not a winger discussion. Will still leave it here since there were people listing both Panarin and Kaprizov on their lists earlier in the thread and had Pastrnak above them both.

My point was that it wasn't started by a Leafs fan, so his whole ' Delusional Leafs/Marner fans trying to comfort themselves and hate everyone who tells them otherwise' thing was pretty dumb and made it seem like he opened the thread and didn't read it. Several Leafs fans in this thread said he was behind Kuch, Rantanen etc.

Doesn't Kirill play LW and Zucc on RW?

I’m seeing Kaprizov listed as a left winger in most places

I think if talking only about offense then it's arguable, but if best means best all around player then Mitch has little competition right now. Don't forget that he kills every penalty, and plays D at some points in the game, even leads the rush from the D zone on occasion.

He’s top 2 and I honestly don’t care what any biased fanboy has to say.

This guy blocks shots, is a top penalty killer in the league, backchecks, and literally plays D.

Not to mention he is on a 17 game point streak, and has a point in literally EVERY game this season except 1.

AND on top of that, he has the most points in the league over the last 100 games minus McDavid and Draisaitl. Finished last year with 76 points in 32 games, most in the league.

Top 2.

Very hard to have Marner over Rantanen. Even just objectively, looking at what they've accomplished.

Everyone else I could see an argument for.

I think Marner sits at #3.

Kucherov
Rantanen
Marner
Pastarnak
Other, etc., etc.

Marner gets more points than Rantanen & Pastarnak each year, but they score more goals and have the post-season success Mitch covets. But in spite of Pastarnak's goals, Mitch is ahead IMO, due to his defensive play. Any cosistent 95 point forward who is as good defensively as Mitch, deserves to be in the top 3 of any list.
It's Pastrnak, not Pastarnak.
