Russians are Europeans, the country itself straddles both continents and contains many asian ethnicities but ethnic russians are Slavic Euros just like the Poles, Ukrainians, Czechs etc
OV isn’t European, Russia is considered mostly a part of Asia.
the Lidstrom disrespectIt's a 3 way race between Jagr, Hasek and Ovechkin.
I used to always say Jagr, but I think Ovechkin is getting close. I personally slot Hasek 3rd, but I know some will have him higher.
the Lidstrom disrespect
This is the way.F - Jagr
D - Lidstrom
G - Hasek
and the order can be debated. For me it's Jagr, Hasek, Lidstrom but I'm okay with any order another individual sees them in.
Datsyuk might be the most overrated player of all time.Who told you that? If it was your teacher, he/she should get 5 min major for bullshitting... Russia is mostly Europe, every Russian will agree. Eventhough Russia is divided between Europe and asia
To the topic
1) Hasek (gretzky in the net )
2) Jagr - (AINEC, you’ve had to see it to believe it - sort of marios kind of dominance)
3)Datsyuk (whatever you think about it - my bias)
4) Ovechkin (f***in freight train, absolute beast)

The most reasonable answer.I think it's a 3 way tie between Jagr, Hasek, and Lidstrom.
Ovechkin easily surpasses Jagr with getting the all time lead in goal scoring IMO
Cmon Makarovs career in NHL wasnt to impressive, which was the question...Ovechkin doesn't have a case even against Makarov.
