I don't get why some people are so worked up about a potential name of Kraken. I kind of like it, it's new, unique and quirky. It will grab peoples attention from day one. We don't need any more feline, bird or military related names in pro sports. Bout time someone steps out of the box.

My high school's team name was the "Fightin' Fishermen". To this point, no one has suggested changing it to Fisherpeople. Nor have they suggested removing the 'Fightin'' portion of the name due to it's association with violence or stereotypes.
