Hopefully one of the D doesn't come down with the flu or food poisoning today because we are going with 6 again (unless I missed a callup). Didn't Jarmo say last year he wasn't going to do that again?

Yes. And he rolled the dice last night. And is apparently going to do the same again today barring a late callup. Unless Murray is ok to return.

Perhaps Jarmo would rather just roll 5 D than put Madaisky or whoever our 10th stringer is in.

6 healthy (which includes Wiz). Jarmo said he always wants 7 on hand in case an illness or morning skate injury hits like last year (Savard illness). He clearly doesn't care about that anymore.

Murray can't be activated today off of the IR even if he was ready to go, unfortunately.

Murray was retroactive to 11/1 so I believe he would be eligible to come off IR. Not that I expect him to and am surprised a call up was not made when we sent Dano down for Tyrell

So, who comes up for Tyutin if he's out?

Weber seems next in line but Madiasky is tearing it up down there. We don't need another offensive-first guy.

End of November-ish.

Dubi targeting 11/18. We'll see.

Concerned that "day to day" guys Murray and Anisimov still aren't skating. Seem a bit more long-term.

@Aportzline: #CBJ Ryan Murray (knee) had another MRI, which revealed NO structural damage. No further surgery, but Murray is week to week, not day-to-day

I'd almost feel better knowing the amount of time he has missed was because a tear or something. So he's still week to week on what, a sprain? So this thing has almost been a 8-10 week sprain? Cant recall when he initially got hurt, but it sounds like he's really no where close to returning

whispers will start to grow louder about Murray's knees, just like Horton's back....doubt we see this guy back on the ice ANYTIME soon.

if there's no structural damage then how serious can it really be?

I don't know anything about knees but if there's no structural damage, why isn't he playing?

Doesnt make sense to me. A strain isn't a week to week thing in my uneducated opinion.

So, according to the Dispatch we could have AA, Calvert, and Bob back on Friday along with JJ returning from suspension. Much different looking lineup if that were to happen.

I can't wait for Dubinsky to return.
