Letestu is just starting rehab. Probably targeting 12/1 or so.
Anisimov has a bit of a history with head injuries. Still day-to-day. If there aren't lingering effects from the concussion, then maybe this weekend but probably into next week at least to be safe.
Murray - "suffered a setback." No one has any idea what that means or the timeframe.
Bob - same injury (supposedly) as Wiz, but depends which finger, type of fracture, etc.
Dubi - still a few weeks away, I think.

Any word on Bob? Does anyone know if it's a finger from his catching or stick hand?
I suppose that would require less time to heal than were it on his stick hand? Good news, if true, then it just becomes a matter of protecting it enough to overcome any remaining discomfort.

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have activated defenseman James Wisniewski off Injured Reserve and placed defenseman Ryan Murray on Injured Reserve retroactive to November 1, club General Manager Jarmo Kekalainen announced today. Murray is listed as day-to-day after re-aggravating a knee injury that caused him to miss the first seven games of the season.

It's not that easy. Depending on which finger it is it could cause quite a bit of pain trying to open and close your glove, not to mention when you go to catch a puck you don't always get in the netting and sometimes catching a puck in the Palm or finger area can be quite painful without a broken finger

The nightmare season continues. If it can go wrong, apparently it will. I am seriously thinking the play-offs are now becoming out of reach. In the past we at least won some games with quite a few injuries, but this season has been different thus far. We are losing them all.
The biggest issue? GF 30, GA 41
We are now no better than Buffalo, and Carolina.

Um...Sabres are 17/45 and Carolina is 25/37. Points - yes, although Buffalo has played two more games.

I think the point Dr. Fire is trying to get across is that McBackup's numbers have been pretty mediocre in the absence of Bobrovsky. You can score 3 or 4 goals a game, but you have to not give up 3 or 4 or 5 a night, also.
Bob's numbers were pretty bad the 3 games before he was injured. The issue(s) are systemic.
With the way this team has been with injuries and how secretive the FO has been, I wouldnt be surprised to hear Murray ends up with surgery

If this was true there would have been no reason to place him on IR retroactively to November 1st (allowing him to come off November 8th). Placing him on IR was a move to free up a roster spot for Wiz coming off IR.

My concern with how we currently look is while we have a depleted lineup, we dont have any 30 goal scorers coming off IR. Duby and AA arent enough to make us anything more then a team you dont want to let hang around in a game.
They may not score 30, but they won faceoffs, kill penalties, and improve our defense immensely. Also missing Letestu is a lot bigger then most think, he's one of the top FO guys in the league right now.

Letestu, Dubinsky, and AA combined for 50 goals last year. That's not an insignificant number. They're also integral parts of our PK units. Their return to the lineup should very easily raise our goals/game and lower our goals against/game significantly.
