Hopefully that will push some fans to interact more with the ultras, learn a few chants and even join the section every now and then. I'm certain a lot of people loved the entertainment during the pause!

On twitter, I read a bunch of Atlanta United fans really appreciating the IMFC Ultras. They said they are among the best and kindest to away fans that the ATLUTD fans have traveled to.

After the game, the Ultras and Atlanta fans were all in the Ultras section chanting and celebrating together. It was real cool to see. There were even some joint F--- Toronto and F--- Orlando chants, it seems.

Depends on the amount of the transfer fee, we won't be paying over 2M$ for sure

Ultras or 1642? :sarcasm:

La MLS negocia con Tigres el traspaso de Enner Valencia

Aston Villa submitted a bid to West Ham for Valencia in the transfer window following Garde’s departure. Makes me see this as a possibility, although no way we’re paying for a transfer fee knowing our club.

I translated that page, and this is what was the first sentence written:

The MLS negotiates with Tigres the transfer of Enner Valencia.png

That would be a sexy acquisition. Although there's another CF that would resonate even more in Montréal from that team ;)
Yeah, I honnestly feel like it would be smarter for Tigres to let go of APG and keep Valencia. Both are scoring at the same rate, but Valencia is younger. He can be their APG replacement for the next 5 years.

Except APG is like their god over there. I think he's more mexican than french at this point.

Yeah that would be the 1642 me thinks. Their section is really close to the away fans section. The Ultras are on the complete opposite side of the stade. Not that the ultras are hostile to all away fans, but they're certainly not as friendly as the 1642.

They have a special bind with Gignac though, he's a legend in Monterrey. I agree with you that if they look at it coldly, they're probably better off selling Gignac, but I'm not sure the fans would roll with that.

Also, I read on Twitter somebody saying the original text from The athletic was from June 29. I'll investigate.

Looks like Adi is traded to an Eastern team, also read someone saying it was to the Sounders. Popcorn time :naughty:

The guy who said it was the Sounders was basing it on nothing. I caught some IMFC fans fall for it on Twitter. The one who said it (thicc balrog) simply tweeted "Adi to Sounders Confirmed" and he offered a link to an article. But the article was the same one as yesterday simply saying Adi is done with Timbers and there is a trade in place. So the guy is spreading #fakenews.

"Potential destination" and "Montreal Impact are interested" don't mean the same thing.

Major League Soccer is in negotiations to bring coveted Ecuadorian attacker Enner Valencia to the league, sources have confirmed to The Athletic. At this time, the Montreal Impact are among the favourites to land him, but are thought to be one of “a handful” of sides looking to sign Valencia. It’s believed that the two sides have yet to agree to terms. Valencia would be able to join the league at the beginning of the MLS summer transfer window.

Also, Nilton thinks the team has already denied the rumor in the past month, but he's not certain.

I asked him, as well. As I did Martineau, Destouches, Alfieri, Leduc, and Friolet, who are always around the team. Only Nilton replied and he wrote me the EXACT same reply, verbatim. Guy probably copy-pasted and replied to a whole bunch of us who asked him the same thing.
