What would Ottawa need to retain on Murray to make him fit for you guys? What’s the framework of a deal? I can see the sens retaining or taking a depth guy with some cap/term back.

Kuemper is asking for 6M so both are likely out
Gibson remains an option but he is also costing 6M so likely kerfoot goes out and would cost significantly more to get gibson

Get Blackwood for a pick or prospect and go after a top 6 LWer.

Why? It's just more of the same. Go after somebody's backup that may have potential and hope it works. The clock is ticking with the top guys contacts running out in the next few years. Those contracts are just going to go up when they re-sign them.

IMO Keumper is the only true upgrade. The rest is more of the same. For a team that's in win now mode they really have screwed the pooch in regards to goaltending.

I wouldn't touch Keumper. The report is that he needed eye procedures everyday because he could barely see in the finals. If this is a recurring thing....he's done.

I would go big or go home.

He wasn't very good. I have this feeling Campbell is coming back or they get Murray.

Yes and he won a cup. Yes the Avs players in front of him helped but you still need to a good goalie to get there. He would be better then what else is out there.

Love Campbell but I’d be pretty disappointed if the Leafs dished out 5 million on a multi year deal to keep him. At that price tag, Gibson seems like a way better option even if it’s a risk. A Gibson - Comrie tandem would be real nice.

Via free agency, there’s only 2 goalies left and 3 teams looking. I don’t want to be the team that’s left without a dance partner, otherwise we’ll have to go the trade route and any goalie worth his salt will be expensive.

Georgiev and Vanicek aren’t as good as he is.

Matt Murray? If he was making 2 then maybe.

Blackwood is a big wildcard.

Talbot is inconsistent and seems like a giant baby.

Kuemper will cost 25% more and is older but is he really 25% better?

Gibson? He’ll cost Willy, but no way straight up, Anna needs to chuck in a big plus.

I wouldn’t be upset if Jack took 4.5/3.
