The problem is that Quincey had been cross-checking even prior to the one that led to the call. Quincey should have gone earlier.

Sure, Quincey was cross checking him in front of the net before the play moved into the corner. Its still a dive.

NHL Network is talking about best 4th lines in the NHL. I don't think ours is the best, but I really think they're top 10. I love that line. I used to groan whenever the 4th line was on the ice.

Between Philly, Washington, Columbus, and NJD, which team would you most and least like to face in the first round?

Yeah, it is a really good line. Sather made an excellent move bringing in Carcillo.

I can't wait until we dump Dorsett next season.

Least is Washington. Not because I think they are tough but because I'm bored to tears facing them in the playoffs. Its not even a good rivalry.

Most? Thats a tough one. None of the teams are particularly scary. I guess NJ?

Same thing I say every year: Don't care. Give us whoever. I'm confident against any of those teams.

I'd prefer not to face Washington just because it seems like we always do, though. Variety is the spice of life.

If we're talking about strictly about our odds of beating them, and not including factors such as "I'm ****ing sick of playing the Caps" it'll be:

Most want to play 1-4.

1) Caps
2) Devils
3) Jackets
4) Flyers

You would think we would have a great rivalry with the Caps by now. It never happened.

So going back to 11-12 this is what 4 in a row against the Wings? I remember when playing them was an automatic loss, not that they're even close to the same team.

Yeah, they don't have Zetterberg or Datsuyk. They aren't scary at all. Injuries screwed them over this season.

Although I'm scared on where Babcock could potentially go. Isn't his contract up this summer or did he sign an extension?

Carcillo been a real good addition to our 4th line. Nice seeing Kreider scoring two, hopefully boost his confidence!

Could beat any of them for sure, but I think NJ could give us problems, although beating them would be amazing.

I really enjoyed how much the D jumped into the play today (you'll have to excuse me if that's been happening more and more... I don't get to watch as much as I used to)... it made it look like we had 6 guys out there.

Another matchup with Washington would be comical at this point. I also think we'd wreck them in a series. I think we are just better than the Devils, so they come in at #2. Flyers are 3rd, but I still think we can handle them in a series, although their offense scares me a bit. Columbus is 4th because the thought of them getting the best of us with so many of our former players is not a thought I want to bear. No doubt in such a situation it's Dubinsky who does us in, Game 7, OT, after making a move around Nash (who's caught out of position, obviously) that puts him on his rear.

1. Washington
2. New Jersey
3. Philadelphia
4. Columbus

I don't see this as a fitting response to anything I said.

Either stealing a game star, or the game itself, either way you take it- not an lol situation. Not that anyone exactly stole the game today, but Henrik does more often than not.

I meant 'if Henrik doesn't get a shutout, McD gets my first star vote'.

And I meant Nash. Why would I be worried about Henrik in the playoffs? He's been stellar in all but a couple Capitals games over the years.

Your use of the word "stole" seems to suggest that the Rangers had no business winning this one and we are just lucky Hank pulled it out of his ass.

This was a complete team win, and everyone played well top to bottom.
