very glad we got the point, Blackwood stole a point for us. i like Vanacek better, but he made up for his goal he gave up.

team is young and they will learn to not take late penalties like that.

Blackwood was good apart from the atrocious mistake. Bahl was terrible (he’s been bad lately). Siegenthaler was good today but our defense overall was terrible at making plays with the puck and was turning it over like crazy. Though Thompson was better today.

Decent game against a really good team.

Really no point at all in harping on this. They just beat Pittsburgh and got a hard fought point against the 2nd best team in the league. Before that they played the best team in the league evenly. Their record in the last 10 is obviously not indicative of their play and what you should expect the rest of the year.

It’s an overtime loss to the hottest elite team in the NHL. (After two tough losses to a goalie who’s 20-1-1.)

If you don’t enjoy it then don’t watch it though.

I would say he had a bigger ceiling, but it doesn't look like he'll hit that ceiling.

There was a time where Michael McLeod had a MUCH higher ceiling than Jesper Bratt, but that definitely won't be hit.

Badly outplayed by the hottest (I think) team in the league and they manage to gut it out with a point. I'll take it. Think Blackwood made up for the monster f*** up with some big saves late in the game and in OT.
