Ghost of jas
Unsatisfied
I also remain unconvinced that Pionk remains a top 4 option on the right when players like Lundkvist and Keane get here, let alone if the trades of Hayes and Zuccarello bring back an RHD prospect.
Dominos?
So we can confirm he was on the phone ordering a pizza!

Maybe it’s still the Honeymoon Period but I think he is a great fit. I’m calling him GQ DQ by the way. If anyone cares. You know, I don't always agree with Quinn, but I do admit that I like him.
I think there's a thought process and rationale for what he does, and I think he truly is working to find the right combinations to unlock some of his more enigmatic talents.
It might not always work, and it might not always be how I would approach things, but I also think he's the type of coach that successful players cite as a contributing factor when they get further into their careers.
Truth be told, I really don't think he will be (or should be).
I think Pionk is a kid who could potentially be an option on a third pairing someday, and he's here now and we'll take it from there.
Who’s gives a shit if he’s 1 goal or 1 pt behind the “team lead for defense”?!?!Also a few things:
1. Mika is near a PPG pace.
2. Zucc seems to be performing better and upping his trade value hopefully.
3. ADA is now 1 goal behind the team lead for D-Man goals. He has one less point then Shatty and Skjei, which would also place him second in points for D. Imagine if he was given the opportunity Pionk had.
FALSE... I am the highest on ADA and i think everyone knows it and is tired of it lolNo one is higher on ADA than me, in my opinion. He’s my favorite player in the NHL.
Quinn has a nice way of stating a player hasn't been up to par without being insulting or disrespectful.
He won't sugarcoat it, but he is very fair IMO
I’ve never been a fan. I think him playing 25 mins a night is a lot of why we suck in our end. And he gets a free pass from the coaches no matter what he does. I don’t get it.
Who’s gives a **** if he’s 1 goal or 1 pt behind the “team lead for defense”?!?!
This team blows and one win doesn’t change that. Saying he’s 1 anything back of the team lead is like saying he’s going to come up just shy of wins this year for the Cleveland Browns.
Wow! We are all really impressed
Lets hope Zucc continue to produce. It will raise his trade value. And maybe his next team will reward him with a good contract if he continue to show som good value for that team to.
Buchnevich is odd. Have any of you ever seen this kid look like he's even remotely happy at all? He's just always got this look on his face like he's a ten year old you told was going to do something awesome, but the plans fell through. I am not sold on him becoming much. I don't think the combination to unlock his potential is something he possesses.
It looks very much like he needs to play with Kreider and Zib. However, you could say that with pretty much anyone on the team not named Kreider and Zib.
So according to this.......Staal had a really good game cf/ca is 21/13? I still dont quite understand. And i really should. There was a time NO ONE would be better than i was, with baseball stats. Just never took to hockey in similar fashion.

Honestly, we "should" take into consideration that scoring is UP throughout the league. Nice if he gets 70+, but would be interesting to see what other players spike up to 70 along with him. Occasionally he has these magical 4 pt. nights, then produces 0 for 2-4 games. I would think we need consistent 1 pt nights, sprinkled in with many 2 pt games.Thought it was a great game by the boys.
Zibanejad continues to show why I’d like him here over the longer haul.
We can debate whether he’s the guy we want centering a first line, or a potentially top shelf second line center, but the reality is that he’s more or less maintained a 70 point pace throughout the year.
Should that continue, it would make him the first Ranger to reach the mark since Gaborik in 2012, and the first center to do so since Gomez in 2008.
Thats really insightful @Edge in itself. In other words in 10 years Howden and Chytil (and many more) will answer ......yeah, coach Quinn was a little rough on me, but guided me into what I have become today. Or, something like that. You know, I don't always agree with Quinn, but I do admit that I like him.

Fair enough.I'm not sure who whizzed in your cornflakes but for a kid that was a fairly significant piece of the Stepan trade, it is important to see his progress. Especially, when you consider he has played less than 30 games this year.
