He's complimenting skinners skating now. I wish you guys could watch the other teams feeds like I do. I think y'all be fascinated the way this team is viewed through other eyes.

I agree lazyking, he's a solid play by play guy and he keeps it fun. Just a painful amount of homering.

Most other team's announcers don't have to drink the trop. storm koolaid (John and Tripp choose their words carefully) so they can be honest. I do watch other feeds on GCL, but frankly, there is alot of bad ones imo that I mostly stick with John and Tripp.

It's about 50/50 for me. I went through a period where I just couldn't handle Tripp. There are some teams that are knowledgeable and go out of the way, and others don't bother to even get the names right so I get what you're saying.

The explanation is that Jri Tlusty is a nobody while Chara is the captain of one of the NHL's Original 6 teams, a player you can/do use for marketing purposes. It wouldn't be good for the League for him to be guilty of an infraction like that, would it? Same reason Ovechkin never got called for charging.
