I went somewhere with NHL Network, why is it showing an encore presentation of Habs-Caps instead of the Canes game?

I don't get it locally, because FSN doesn't show the Canes games here if college football is on.

Honestly, I'm sick of the NHL and stupid blackout rules at this point. I'm hoping this bizarre sports blackout bill passes in Congress so I can be done with this ****.

Because your likely in the canes zone of coverage, and need to watch on your own affiliate.

They had a trivia question about the canes, and they started talking about the move and Edwards laughed and brought up the greensboro days asking his partner if he remembered those. Then he said "they played to friends, family, and whoever wandered in". I went to one of those games so don't paint me as a simple angry New Englander who knows nothing about it. All I'm saying is I have no problem with him making fun of that aspect, it was a messed up time.

Thank god things have changed since then, those were some damn dark days for the franchise. But total damned if you do damned if you don't situation. Playing in Dorton would have been a FAR worse alternative at the time.
