He will become elite when he learns how to bench Reaves. He became great when he learned how to bench Nemeth.

Oh great, the call from the most overrated announcer in NHL history.“The Rangers move on to Tampa”
If you know you know
No joke, that was a huge turning point in that series. He would constantly kill momentum with his bad play and his terrible penalties.
Avalanche fans warned us about him and they were right. He’s okay in the regular season, but what the playoffs start he’s a disaster.
The ESPN broadcast effort is an abomination. I would love to just let it go, but I see that the Eastern Conference Finals are on ESPN and the West gets TNT. Bummer. So, forgive me as I preach toward our choir...Can we talk about how bad the announcing was last night?
Serious, what the f***. The first half of the third period was spent lamenting about the Hurricanes injuries. The final 10 minutes was focused entirely on Tampa.
Other than a few comments on Lindgren blocking a shot, they didn’t compliment the Rangers a single time. They just rambled on about how difficult Tampa Bay is going to be. How is that acceptable?
You are so right about that and rival fans don't like it one bit.Walked into the school I teach at today to a 25-year old man, Isles fan, saying, "have fun playing a real goalie this series" as if his team wasn't handed the Pens series last year thanks to Jarry. So many jealous POS's that I should honestly be happier. Regardless of this round's result, the future is extremely bright here and fans know it.
Also a big fat LOL to Pittsburgh beat writers crying about the Trouba hit tonight.
What a bunch of unprofessional sacks of shit they have covering their team.
Chytil scoring and skating straight to Mika has to be my favorite Celly so far

Ask him how it feels to have a senile fool running a team full of aging nobodies that just fired one of the best coaches in the game.Walked into the school I teach at today to a 25-year old man, Isles fan, saying, "have fun playing a real goalie this series" as if his team wasn't handed the Pens series last year thanks to Jarry. I woulda told that guy whilst looking at my watch “hey, if you’re real quick you’ll catch Anders and the team teeing off at Shinnecock Hills….“
He was a huge culprit in game 6, too. Turnovers and terrible pinches, that’s the Brady Skjei we know.Good ol' Brady Skjei with the dastardly turnover there - with an assist from Fast by basically skating almost right into him. The Rangers knew what Skjei was. He was horrendous last night and for most of the series really. Sorry Canes. Ya'll got bamboozled in that trade.
Complete correct on this. Look at his career numbers, Raanta has been just as good as Andersen. I honestly think there is very little drop off between them. He is good enough to be a starter in this league, but he just very injury prone that no team would hitch their wagon to him. Raanta ended with a .922 SVP for the playoffs while also being on the positive side of Goals Saved Above Average. That is the exact same SVP that Andersen had during the regular season for them, which was tied for 3rd best in the league.Anderson wasnt that far off from a vezina caliber season, but yea the narrative that we beat only backup goalies is kinda BS. We all know Raanta isn't some scrub, he put up like a .930 in the first round and he's always been a starting caliber goalie
I don't know how I missed it... Had no clue what this meant.
Him and Stamkos both heavy hitters and Stamkos seems to really enjoy pounding RangersKucherov better keep his head up![]()

Said it at the time of the trade, simply moving out his contract was a win in itself. Carolina was desperate as they had some big injuries to key defensemen, but getting a 1st round pick (which turned into Braden Schneider after we moved up) was such a great move by Gorton. We were playing very well at the time too, but Gorton pulled the trigger at the right time.

Covering Fox who burned them earlier, and Mika who's got wicked one timer. Their aggressiveness caught up to them.what was carolina doing leaving the best net front player in the league wide open in front of the net?
Oh come on. Doc was great. And that call was amazing.Oh great, the call from the most overrated announcer in NHL history.
And he hustled his ass off on theat early PP to prevent a SH breakway. Honestly that was the best he's looked skating-wise since he got injured before the POs.This was Panarin's best game of the playoffs so far IMO. He didn't really have any brutal turnovers that I can remember which is a big improvement from his usual 4 brutal turnovers per game.
Hopefully playing against his buddy Kucherov gets him locked in. He's helped a team beat them in the playoffs before, let's hope he can do it again.
