Just read the Carolina GameDay thread.... They thought the trouba hit was dirty, that kreider was the one who injured raanta, and that the refs have it in for them.

It's funny how all fan bases think the refs have it in for them...
I think a bigger issue with these "fanbases", especially on these boards, is that average age of posters is probably around 17.

Remember in the regular season when we literally couldn't do anything at all against Carolina? No time, no space, couldn't even do anything on the PP, they just completely outclassed us each time we played them in the regular season. Pretty crazy.

Btw, the fact that Adam Fox is as good as he is at hockey is nuts. He has the frame and physicality of just some random college kid. He's not a fast skater, he's under sized, he's weaker than most of his opponents, his passes and shots are frequently extremely weak. His physical shortcomings should be enough, as usually it is, to keep him out of the league. And despite this, not only is he good but he's literally one of the top 5 or 6 players in the whole league. He shoots the puck as hard as any random 14 year old but it doesn't matter because he's so smart he just waits until the goalie can't see and lobs it in. Same thing with his passing. None of his physical stature even matters at all because he's just so smart in all aspects of the game.
He makes you think Gretzky (stylistically). What he's doing while clearly hurt is insane.

Do 17 year olds even know what forums are?

Uoh and let the excuses come rolling in. No one gave a shit about the Vancouver canucks when they were dealing with half their team to injury. No one care about us when we barely had a healthy dman against TB 2015.

Worse than that, they had to deal with AV!

What a night, f***ing outstanding

Fox is getting his number raised, Igor, phenomenal, might join him. Ryan Lindgren is the personification of Ranger Hockey and the Ryan Strome sequence is decades of following the Rangers wrapped up neatly into a two minute little package. Thank Christ that shot went in and fair play to Stromer. That third goal was huge.

That is one of the best Ranger games I have ever watched. And at 3-0 I even managed to almost enjoy it, too, without shitting myself.

This was Panarin's best game of the playoffs so far IMO. He didn't really have any brutal turnovers that I can remember which is a big improvement from his usual 4 brutal turnovers per game.
Hopefully playing against his buddy Kucherov gets him locked in.
This is another reason we will beat TB. They don't take away time and space like the Canes. They are not nearly as aggressive. You will see a huge improvement in Panarin's play, cause he will have much more time with the puck to make plays.

Tampa won't give us problems moving the puck like the Canes did.

BTW maybe I remember wrong...

No team has ever come back from being down 3-1 and 2-0 in a playoffs.

Why not... lets make history

Honestly dont think Copp gets enough love. He's Adam Fox like at forward.

He is IMO our best player in transition. He's 'elite' in that aspect as well as doing everything else well.

I almost had an aneurism when Strome missed his slam dunk setup

P.S. I know he gets a lot of minutes.... but Adam Fox needs to be on for both PP units.

I agree. I thought Pitt was a worse matchup for us than Carolina would be and I think Tampa will be an even better matchup. 3 things that concern me about Tampa are 1) Their stanley cup pedigree and experience, 2) the fact that they have had 9 days of rest and this could be a big advantage for them the longer the series goes, 3) Vasilevskiy is every bit as good as Shesty.
