Thank you for this. The culture is fine... our core is still young, they are being battle hardened. If JT doesn't get KO'd in game 1, period 1 then we likely sweep the Habs and are having a much different conversation about the exact same roster.

That's fine to say, but this team deserves to be questioned with 5 straight first round losses, the last 2 being upsets given the talent gap even with JT's injury.

Some are over the top, but I understand why people are outraged.

It won’t be because Dubas doesn’t have the guts to make the needed moves required to shake up a team with serious character issues, right down to its core.

I’m actually rooting for another bad leafs season - one more and maybe they’ll start trying to clean this mess up. The leafs are an example of how not to run a franchise.

Dubas is going to go down as one of the worst GMs in history in any sport. How can one come into a climate that is perfect (cap space, picks, prospects, team on the rise) and with in 2 to 3 years you change to (no cap space, no picks, no prospects, team on decline).

That's the thing I don't get, I've seen what this team looks like with a bad culture and this isn't it. Being reactive and listening to fans is always a bad idea. Stick to the plan, look at what happened to Edmonton with "Fail for Nail". They chose the wrong player, because of the backlash if they picked a defender. There' s a reason some people get paid to make decision, and some post on twitter.
