That was absolutely what I detected but its a pretty bad look from Leon. He's treating this like its another ASG trick pony show. Obviously he doesn't like the shootout, we get it, but its still a potentially important point at stake.

I can get behind he injured. But the reality is that he not good enough to be on the top 6 with thoses kind of performance.

Rest him if there is something or bench if he just lasy. This is completely unacceptable.

If we rest him we would probably lose both of the last two games in regulation. Is that better? We needed both goals from him last game and tonight just to get the loser point each night.

This team is a disaster defensively without Desharnais, the numbers bear this out too, GA has been shit from last year's playoffs to this year (well over 3.3 GAA per game). The only stretch where it's been below 3.3 GAA has been the 12 games that Desharnais was in. What a coincidence.

Wasn't really that bad. he scored a nice goal and setup both Kane and Yamamoto multiple times. Kane just ain't going and Yama is hardly ever going. I mean thats his line. Injured Kane and a third line player. Yama was so futile they inserted Ryan on the line in parts of 3rd period. Kane isn't right yet. So that line is really weak.

Meanwhile we threw 24M bucks of players on first line, loaded it up, and they weren't seen in 2nd and 3rd periods.
