- they didn't call trip on marner
- they didn't call a full on blatant trip on ROR; hedman tripped him so bad that ROR was on air
- they didn't call boarding on maroon
- of course they didn't call high stick on Knies

this league is f***ing rigged

but then again I look at the stupid ass coach we have and then why the F not. Our own coach f***s us over all the time why not the league and the refs. the more the merrier eh

If the league were rigged Auston Matthews would be playing in Arizona.

It’s sad being a Leafs fan.

I’ll still take it as a win if the Leafs lose this series but Keefe gets fired.

Last year my friends decided to have their wedding on game 7.
This year the wife decided to have her birthday game 6 this Saturday at bowling alley.

Time for Woll

The 1-1 tie goal was just not good. You want to enjoy that lead and build on it without giving it up like that.

The second goal was brutal, Lalime style.

Other than that, it was Vasi who was good at the other end, but ultimately still beatable. I noticed the Leafs also were hesitant to lob from the point, which makes no sense seeing how successful it was.

Marner was also noticeably tight. Starting to get fancy and bobbling a few things here and there.
I noticed that too, the guys in general wasn’t throwing pucks at net like the last few games.
Acciari was by his standard quite quiet.
McCabe is alive though.
ROR was picking his moments and he shined when he had the chance.
Big four beside Willie was grabbing on to their stick abit too tight and this is the first game in a long long time that MM was overthinking. Hopefully, all the warts are out tonight and they come in determine in Game 6.

Jarnkrok Matthews Nylander
Knies O'Reilly Marner
Bunting Tavares Acciari
ZAR Kampf Kerfoot

I don’t see either of these teams beating Boston.

So what would be more entertaining, a series win, or the circus around another game 7 loss?

I picked the Leafs in 6 but they’ve a complete no show in his series.

What did keefe do wrong?

- keeps dressing justin f***ing holl
- kept playing 4th line so bad that he had that line out with the shit ass pairing that is gio-holl and bolts scored the 3rd goal too
-no in game adjustments while tampa adjusted in a way that they didnt allow any point shot, kept leafs to the outside allnight
- tavares has been sucking ass 5 on 5 for the entire season yet he has either marner or nylander on his wing wasting their minutes instead of ROR
- Keefe is a JOKE

We're playing for the dubious honour of not going 20 years between series wins. The entire rink was a ghost town because the fans were chewing their nails the entire third period. It would be great to dial down the pressure in the manner you describe, but you could see it in the eyes of the Leafs tonight as soon as Cirelli scored.

Well, they're going to be Amalie Arena, which they seem to love playing in. So let's finish it out in Tampa where no one gives a crap about the Leafs and move on to better things.

no its not. we scored one goal from a defenseman through 55 minutes. last game our offence didnt awake until 10 mins left. offence needs to show up on time, they haven't shown up on time since game 2.
Can't pull out miracles and expect Vasi to suck every game...there will be tight games so
play some defense, being on the ice of 14/19 goals tells you something...

Name one player with that type of goals-against ratio in the history of the sport and continues to play a regular shift.

The usual suspects are getting beaten to death in here already, but what was with JT tonight? Treated the puck like a grenade, very abnormal.

I did find it odd so many people were going nuts over those OT comeback wins and being up 3-1 despite being outplayed for much of the series. There's a history that can't be ignored.

They may very well have finally grown as a team and can win this. But until they do, those OT wins have a chance of being just a new heart-breaking way of losing a series.
The Leafs always get your hopes up before breaking your heart. A crushing defeat isn't truly crushing if you haven't snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, and that is our specialty.

They have to prove they're different.

My only issues with this team is Keefe and Holl. Regardless of how this series goes, I hope they resign Dubas, but those 2 gotta go.

If they lose, is Dubas willing to break up the core? It would be 0-12 in elimination games if they lose. You just can't continue like that.

play the same lineup that had us outplayed and we had to rely on late game heroics and surprise surprise, we get outplayed again and there's no way we come back three games in a row.

Right.

if we are being honest, Marner, Matthews, Tavares, Nylander and even O'Rielly need to f***ing score... early... to set the tone.

Marner had the best chance tonight to tie the game at two. Didn't get it done. Matthews got a late one... need WAY more from him imo.

I do get a little chuckle from the comments that our 4th line is losing us the game. They may play a small part, but it has always been the same with this incarnation of the Leafs... It's the up to the core to get it done.

What i don't understand is how we keep playing like in game 3 and 4. We let them dictate the game get the lead and try and comeback late. Look it worked for 2 games in Tampa and almost worked again tonight but can we just go in there and take control of most of the game? It's not a good trend and if we rely on it for game 6 it's not going to work and we will lose in 7.
