I can understand not changing a winning lineup (though there's red flags with two come from behind victories,) but I think even an idiot like Keefe will change things up and put Bunting back in. Hopefully in place of Lafferty.

Holl should sit, but he never will. Instead he will be on for nearly every goal against in game 6. Gio should probably sit too, but do they have a LD that can replace him?

They played perfect low event hockey. That's hiw you frustrate teams. Leafs need to play like that and keep leads longer.

I noticed that too, the guys in general wasn’t throwing pucks at net like the last few games.
Acciari was by his standard quite quiet.
McCabe is alive though.
ROR was picking his moments and he shined when he had the chance.
Big four beside Willie was grabbing on to their stick abit too tight and this is the first game in a long long time that MM was overthinking. Hopefully, all the warts are out tonight and they come in determine in Game 6.

Willie was a mixed bag for me. He was taking bad routes and visibly discouraged from driving to the inside just by having a vigorous defense in front of him, but he was handling the puck and setting up very well late. Felt like he transported the puck better than Mitch and wasn't phased by that aspect.

crazy that at no point in this game I was nervous or stressed.

Mostly due to the result being very much expected
I didn’t buy all the noise everyone was trying to sell
We been incredibly outplayed, got lucky in the last 2 games

No Samsonov lost them that game he gave up a goal 25 seconds after they made it 1-0 and you simply can't do that and THEN he allowed the 2nd goal, and that 2nd goal CAN NOT go in.

I hate Keefe too, but SAMSONOV blew this one.

Samsonov needs to get his head out of his ass because he's had ONE game where he's allowed less than 3.

Not playing Bunting didn’t lose us the game. Playing Holl did.
For all we know, Bunting could have been in the box for a few times. Or he could had scored , win the game and redeemed himself. All unknown and what if.
Holl was just all over the place the first 2 periods and Sammy didn’t bail him out on both goals.

The NHL and it's game management is a major reason why it'll never get the same recognition globally as other popular sports. No other league artificially creates its parity. In the MLB, umpires don't squeeze the strike zone of the winning team when they're up by a lot. In the NFL and NBA, they don't stop calling fouls or throwing flags towards the losing team. Only the NHL does this.

If they actually called penalties as they occur and by the rulebook, every Bruins-Leaf game would be a power-play practice for the Leafs.
