Fans are so bipolar. One minute it's we are the greatest ever now we suck and are the worst. Relax everyone knew this would be a 6-7 games series. Tampa are the champs they won't go down easy. Even Boston the greatest regular season team in history is going 6. It just sucks because it's a missed opportunity.

I did find it odd so many people were going nuts over those OT comeback wins and being up 3-1 despite being outplayed for much of the series. There's a history that can't be ignored.

They may very well have finally grown as a team and can win this. But until they do, those OT wins have a chance of being just a new heart-breaking way of losing a series.

Lightning give a shit meter looks like 1/10 and they still get the win. Hardly a desperation game by them. Not surprised but still disappointed nonetheless.

They played perfect low event hockey. That's hiw you frustrate teams. Leafs need to play like that and keep leads longer.

The 1-1 tie goal was just not good. You want to enjoy that lead and build on it without giving it up like that.

The second goal was brutal, Lalime style.

Other than that, it was Vasi who was good at the other end, but ultimately still beatable. I noticed the Leafs also were hesitant to lob from the point, which makes no sense seeing how successful it was.

Marner was also noticeably tight. Starting to get fancy and bobbling a few things here and there.

I felt the same way.
Leafs didn’t play a bad game and I really don’t think TB played a great game. It came down to mistakes and if Sammy made that save on the second goal while Holl didn’t lose his position in the first goal. Leafs could have won this game.

The boys did seem to be nervous and grabbing their stick a bit too tight, hopefully playing away will settle them down a bit.

You can't play from behind 3 games in a row and think you are going to comeback and beat a team like Tampa all 3 times. It is really that simple. We can't just try and turn it on for 5-10 minutes a night and think that is going to be enough.

No Samsonov lost them that game he gave up a goal 25 seconds after they made it 1-0 and you simply can't do that and THEN he allowed the 2nd goal, and that 2nd goal CAN NOT go in.

I hate Keefe too, but SAMSONOV blew this one.

Samsonov needs to get his head out of his ass because he's had ONE game where he's allowed less than 3.
