Not playing Bunting didn’t lose us the game. Playing Holl did.
For all we know, Bunting could have been in the box for a few times. Or he could had scored , win the game and redeemed himself. All unknown and what if.
Holl was just all over the place the first 2 periods and Sammy didn’t bail him out on both goals.

Lol now we want Bunting to carry the 45 million that can't play

I don't want to take the core off the hook here. If they lose this series that will be 0-12 in elimination games, that can not continue any longer. I wouldn't trust them with a new coach either.

Thats bs. Holl was trash. Sammy actually kept us in it. It happens we didn't get it done because the stars didn't elevate. They never rise to the occasion close a team out.

Holl didn't have a good game, and Samsonov had a couple good saves in the 2nd, but overall Samsonov was the main reason we lost. We were the better team in that game, and they scored like 20 seconds after we scored and exploded the building, and then he let in a HORRIBLY weak 2nd goal when we were controlling play, and then the game-winner in the 3rd when you need your goalie to lock it down as you push. Deflating goals, and the 2nd one is unacceptable from a starting goalie in the playoffs. Our stars elevating was the only reason we even had a chance.

Had chances that didn't go in. Just didn't like the goals we gave up. Soft performance until the end but Tampa did a very solid job limiting chances. High danger chances were there but Vasy was on.

The only way to score against him tonight was off deflections or net front.

If it’s not Samsonov, then it’s Campbell or it’s Freddie.

How about the offense steps up for once and blitz the opposition in a knockout game so we don’t have to worry about goaltending?

Imagine if we just stuck it through on the growing pains with Liljegren and actually let him fully develop into the part.

Yeah honestly his growing pains probably wouldn't be close to 15 goals against in 4 games either

Its a really big freaking problem when in close out situations the only time you see this team play with force is in the last 3mins. They do not elevate and must. Its not optional going forward.

I am the most upset with Keefe. I truly to not get his decision making.

Marner was struggling with the puck all night. McCabe not the best either.

4th line is absolutely atrocious.
