Well Willie was doing his thing. TB really limited our guys tonight, they played a very conservative and passive game. I think that’s surprised the boys, as they were probably preparing TB to throw everything at them. TB played the Leafs to make mistakes, the first two goals were on Holl. Both times he got out of position. Sammy could had saved both goals but Holl should not let it happened to begin with.
Honestly if the first goal didn’t happen and Vas didn’t got lucky with Willie shot that actually went off his left pad then bounced to his right pad instead of bounced behind him. The game could had been 2-0 for the Leafs and TB will just fold.
I don’t think TB got life after this game and if both teams played like tonight, Leafs will win.

Tampa was more passive physically and dialed down the extra curriculars for sure. I think we'll see less of the crazy stuff as Game 1 and Game 2 if Tampa can dictate. But the key is to not get lulled into a no event Game 7.

Fans are so bipolar. One minute it's we are the greatest ever now we suck and are the worst. Relax everyone knew this would be a 6-7 games series. Tampa are the champs they won't go down easy. Even Boston the greatest regular season team in history is going 6. It just sucks because it's a missed opportunity.

Making saves after letting in a shitty goal, that’s the number 1 excuse for a goalie. His saves came too late; then he lets in that 3rd goal which was terrible by the skaters, but he went across the ice and Sammy flopped

2nd goal isn’t on holl, Ben Bishop with no hip stops that

Holl turned the wrong way. Goalie needs to make the save though but never should have been a shot.

I consider a Game 7 as a loss unless ROR is in the mood to drag them. Vasy and Tampa's experience in Game 7 just can't be discounted...sooner or later they should win a Game 7 but I am not sure I can trust them to do it against Tampa even if it is at home.

Game 6 is the game they need to take.

So we have seen many variations of painful series losses. Tampa is good so then coming back from 3-1 can’t be worse than habs. We lost overtime after 4-1 game 7 already so that is covered. Back to back shutouts? That would be pretty disappointing I suppose but I think we’ve been through the worst lol.

The issue is he has no problem doing it with other players. Imagine Liljegren having the series Holl is having. Do you think he's still playing? He lost his playoff spot having like 2 or 3 bad games in a row at the end of the regular season.

That’s one way to look at it. But I certainly didn’t expect TB to play this passive style tonight. Really thought they will be gunning hard but instead they played it safe. Think only MM got an odd man rush the whole game with that break away.
