I like the current Panini Prizm cards and the way they do RC. Have some hard signed autographed and some parallels and apply it to hockey i would buy the product .
For now , I find the best bang for the buck fir “ true “ rookie cards are SP Authentic FWA.
Nice hard signed auto , somewhat SP /999 established card has been around for awhile
What has happened to Ice premieres /99 though ? I have noticed that they have dropped in demand and not really talked about as much anymore ?

Shoulda got one game in
Has anybody ever purchased anything from centreicecollectibles.com? They have a lot of interesting cards, but seem to be really expensive (minimum $1 each), and it doesn’t seem like you can just purchase complete sets. But if anybody has, what are the cards like? Are they in good condition?

I bought a pretty large lot off of them a few months ago. They have a lot of cheap singles and team/European issued cards. It's not back if you buy in bulk since they have free shipping after the first card its worth it to pay one person than pay shipping 20 times. Condition was a bit disappointing, they didn't ship in top loaders just penny sleeves in cardboard. A few soft corners but they're cheap cards so whatever.

Yea that’s mainly what I was looking at. That and some inserts that I’ve seen that looked interesting. I mean, I’m not expecting high quality or anything. Just as long as they’re still nice to look at, as opposed to looking like they were put in bike spokes. How long did shipping take?

Sent cards in to Mint grading in March for the 90 days.

Emailed them in August. They told me I wouldn't get anything back until end of August/beginning of September.

Most I've seen they were backed up was 2 weeks.

Mint or MNT?

Neither are recognized as legit grading services and until a big card gets slabbed by MNT and pulls a huge return, I’m not taking them seriously. There’s a lot of shilling going on by YouTube breakers over MNT that looks too fake, IMO. Anybody saying “use code whatever” when they say something about submitting to MNT I’m staying clear from.

Rather wait the year for a PSA.

I've had a really good experience with SGC so far.

PSA and Beckett are the only ones I’d ever use . For now at least . They are established and for now the only two legit companies for grading. Both have their issues but still miles more recognized and respected in the collector community

I'd pull the Gretzky out of that screwdown and send it into psa right away.
Holy shit yes. The centering is unreal good and very sharp looking. For sure grade that immediately.
The Neids is a cool card bu not very valuable. However the Gretzky to me me looks like a pretty damn good grade from what I can see / tell . Wrap the shit out of it and send it in as is .

GAI was also a damn fine grading company back in the day. It’s a crying shame they went under.

If you don't want to spend the money for PSA, it might be worth the $30 to send to SGC and get a nice case for it. Can always crack it out and send to PSA at a later date.

Cool thing SGC also does is upload scans of your cards to their site so you can easily list on ebay if you need to.

MNT is fine for low end card, don't expect big cash return them. I've send some card just to see if I have the eye for pre grading a card. Doesn't cost much and can alway crack the case if can't sell.

I'm not paying 200$ for grading a YG that worth 100$!

The whole PSA is expensive thing is new and will only be temporary. A year ago I was submitted to PSA for $8-11/card. They've increased their staff, and will go back down reasonable rates as soon as the fad of grading dies down a bit. Don't know if we'll ever see sub $10 grading again, but it'll definitely be back down to sub $30 at some point in the future.

Unless your goal is to make cash, I'd hang onto the cards and just submit to PSA in a year or so.
