How he wants to play is holding the puck forever trying to make the highlight reel pass. That doesn't work anywhere. His issues also haven't just been how he wants to play. He has a piss poor attitude and work ethic.
You'd think time in the AHL and Europe would humble the guy. Guess we'll see.

He whined to the media multiple times in Long Island. Does any industry tolerate their low-level employees whining to the press? Just because you are professional in front of the media, doesn't mean you are a yes man and don't voice concerns in private.

LOL, such a joke. NBA, MLB, NFL players say way worse daily in media availability and it's accepted there. Hockey is still stuck in the early 1900's

This place is going to be a toxic cesspool until the Leafs win something. Even if it's a round against a team that is injured from top to bottom.
It will be bad either way. Honestly when we do win, the team will deserve to win, not those complaining fans.

How often do non-star players get let off for complaining about usage or playing time? A diva star wide-receiver can probably get away with it. They talk way more trash on the mic, but none of those leagues tolerate non-star players for long who complain vocally about coaching and management, and their respective usage.

That remains to be the seeing and question yes sire. Lets see if Ho-Sang has learned bout LIFE. It's the most important one. We can breath in and out. Still smell and taste. See with our own eyes. Now we are looking at Ho-Sang and his eyes and HE SEES. It all comes together. Think how deep that is and life in general. Me and you is watching and seeing Ho-Sang and thinkin bout what he sees and even feels. Ho-Sang might see the world in a whole different way than me and you (the wiser ones). If he still is dumb, then git the F out again. He ain't no Lou type of player, lets see if he is even a dubas soft type of a sucka.

The Ho-Sang PTO is one of the few moves from this trade deadline that I like aside from getting Bunting. Let Ho-Sang's play do the talking because from what I'm seeing, it's his word against a lot of Garth Snow, Bill Guerin Islander incompetence. If he doesn't perform, then great - that's what PTOs are for... if he does, then you have at least a powerplay specialist or at most a player that can take charge of a line and get it going the right direction. For all the complaining about his turnovers, it reminds me of the kind of criticism Jake Gardiner was getting. You need to have the puck before you turn it over.

It will still be toxic. Some of these so called fans just constantly whine and highjack every thread with their ignorance and their pissing and moaning. The main boards are much more rational nowadays despite the contingent of known trolls.

Ho-Sang’s primary issue—aside from the egregious turnovers that he cut out of his game under Trotz to the detriment of his offense—is that he simply will not shoot the puck under any circumstance.

Of course it is, we’ve been watching humiliating defeat after humiliating defeat every year, with no improvement or change. It’s infuriating to watch such mismanagement of this team, full of players who clearly don’t care if they win or lose.

Watching the leafs play games that matter just makes me angry.

Why put yourself through it?

What a horrible thread. The attitude issues have always been so overblown. If the guy played in the NBA or NFL he wouldn't even be in the 50th percentile of attitudes. Hockey is just a trash sport where if you don't have the personality of a wet blanket you're the enemy. Someone comparing him to TDA was the easiest ignore of my life, and I've been ignoring virtually half the website at this point for their trash comments.

Lots of talent and never was gonna get a real chance after Lou took over. I love this move, and if it doesn't work out, it's a f***ing PTO.

Any other reclamation projects still kicking around? What ever happened to Kirill Kabanov anyway? Pavel Brendl still around?

I wonder if Dubas talked with Tavares about Ho-Sang?

When I was 16, 17, 18, I wasn't the person I became by 22, nor was that person the same as who I became at 25. Ho-Sang may have been a dickhead, may still be, but he might have matured a bit when in Europe and we'll find out in September. Of all the issues surrounding this team, worrying about JHS seems to be pretty far down the list.

Ho-Sang needs to be given a chance at the NHL level and I'm glad it's us. I don't think he's been treated fairly from the sound of things and this is a unique bet on skill. Excited to see what this guy can do. Hopefully he pays off like some of Florida's bets on young cast offs this past season.

The way we've seen some of the NHL's senior management behave in various situations over the years handling various issues, you have to wonder what the emotional maturity and moral systems are across the board. Just interested to give this guy a fair shake and hopefully he can tap into some of his skills for the Leafs.

Brendl has retired and last played in the Finnish 4th division while Kabanov still plays in Denmark.

It might be us. Any team can sign him while he is on a PTO.

Pure talent wise I've always liked JHS. Might not be too bad to inject a little attitude into this team, it's been missing since Naz and Leo left.
